Eagle Rising: Sheriffs Walk Out of Capitol When Told to Disarm

 Doesn’t it seem as though politicians can be the most disrespectful people on the planet sometimes? Whether it’s the condescending way they talk to the average voter, or the disgusting things they say about their opposition, or even the way they seem willing to lie in any situation. Sometimes though, the examples can be especially egregious.

Every year, Sheriffs from around the state of Oklahoma trek to the capital to schmooze, converse and lobby their state representatives. This same trek has been happening for years, and for years it’s gone on without controversy. But there’s a first time for everything.

This year, some lily livered, weak kneed politician was made to feel uncomfortable by the display of armed Sheriffs descending upon the state capitol. So the sheriffs were asked to disarm or leave  . Many of them chose to leave instead of suffer the indignity of being forced to disarm.

Michelle Obama’s recent helpful comments about how young people are “blockheads” and need to enroll in Obamacare because they could be injured “dancing” or cooking ... are telling. Her husband, the smartest guy in the world, has illustrated how important teleprompters are, and how they can spare us all lots of embarrassment.  When he leaves the T-prompter at home and ventures into the “real world” he can say painfully dumb things. One of my personal favorites was when he was quoting the Psalmist and misread the word “bow.” He pronounced the word as it is used to describe what he does in the presence of the Saudi royal family. (Remember the Saudis? They came to power by assassinating the former dynasty members. They also provided the young fellows who hijacked the planes on September 11.)

 Terrifying Evidence of How the Government Could Treat Us

Imagine that you have been arrested and the story told to you in court sounds nothing like what actually happened at the time of your arrest. What would you do? How would you respond? How would you defend yourself?
Most of us would argue that the state’s story was a lie and then we would tell them what really happened… but who would the court believe? Would the court believe the arrested criminal or the state law enforcement officers who are supposed to be the good guys?

This scenario played out for a Bloomfield, New Jersey man, and he almost went to prison because of it.

Hillary Clinton does not care about consequences. Blame for Benghazi is irrelevant.

Lady Macbeth said, “Things without all remedy/ Should be without regard. What’s done is done.”

After Benghazi Hillary said, ““With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided to go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?”

She goes on to say, “It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again.”  If she didn’t prevent it the first time, what makes us think that she’d prevent it the second. And after our weakness on the world scene, who would be afraid of us now?

The False Question of Benghazi

 Hillary famously said about Benghazi, “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they’d go kill some Americans.” “What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?”

Hillary is posing a false question.  It doesn’t make any difference whether it was protest or thugs out for a walk.  What matters is that she didn’t do her job and provide Stevens with proper protection.  If she had been vigilant, either the protest or the thugs would have been stopped.

It also matters that Hillary tried to minimize Al-Qaeda by emphasizing the silly video.  She and Obama had said that Al-Qaeda had been defeated and it was necessary for the prestige of their administration to maintain this myth.

Benghazi proved that our leaders were lying.  It was necessary for Hillary to pin it on the video rather than the supposedly defunct Al-Qaeda.

Islam’s Shadow War Against the World

Islam is different from other religions because it is all consuming. Unlike Judaism, Islam demands the conversion of the unbeliever or punishment is meted out in this life, not just the next. Unlike Christianity, Islam demands non-Muslims to remain silent about their beliefs. Unlike Buddhism, violence is often prescribed to ensure the spread of Islam. All of these things have worked together to ensure Islam’s dominance of North Africa and a huge swath of Asia… but it’s not enough. Islam wants more. Islam demands more.
And so over the last generation we have idly watched as Islam has spread to Europe and began infecting pockets of the West. So much so that even as some nations have begun to try to defend themselves, the reality is that they are too late. They never realized they were fighting a shadow war.
As Germany begins to succumb to Islam, just as much of the rest of the world has, some brave voices have stood up to fight back. One of those voices has become an internet sensation for her brave stand against Islam. Her name is Heidi Mund, and she has decided that her country is worth fighting for.

All of their ideas are theirs, so they must be better than what we small-minded, fly-over country Americans believe. The Common Core has driven some of these liberal elitists to up their game in insane rhetoric. One Massachusetts liberal and former Secretary of Education for the state of Massachusetts now claims that your children belong to everyone  … so everyone should decide how they are educated.
(And by everyone he of course means liberal coastal elites and not you.)

Eagle Rising: Ted Cruz Interview that CBS Didn’t Want you to See

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is no shrinking violet, and if you watched his most recent interview with Bob Schieffer you probably noticed that. Schieffer didn’t hold back any of his contempt for the Texas Republican and his laser focus on the government shutdown that the Democrat Party enacted was proof of that. Cruz continually noted that he spoke out against the government shutdown time and again, but the Democrat Party chose to shut down the government rather than negotiate with Republicans on the budget.
But CBS and Schieffer didn’t actually show you the entire length and breadth of his interview with Cruz. In fact, they left out the very best part.

What’s new?

There are times that reporting on the Obama administration makes me feel like a broken record. Another day, another lie discovered.

Well, at least we’ve known that this one was a bunch of hogwash for a while. Now we have even more evidence of that fact.

Are you ready? The Obama administration new almost immediately that the attack on the Benghazi consulate on 9/11/2012 was a terrorist attack, and not some random protest over a YouTube video.

Fox News correspondent James Rosen got his hands on some of the just released testimony from the Benghazi hearings.  (click on to read)
