They surely are not.

Here's what Paul had to say about Syria
a full year ago when Brasscheck first
ran it.

When Will We Attack Syria?
Ron Paul Weighs In...in 2012

The text of this speech below...
What's going on in Syria?

Ron Paul explains everything - a full year ago.

It's all about destroying Syria, re-starting the Cold War with Russia, and setting up for an attack on Iran.

Again, it's all about the oil. It's all about the oil.

What follows is the complete transcript of the speech Congressman Ron Paul gave from the floor of the US Congress on June 19 2012

Congressman Paul on intervention in Syria

Floor Speech, Syria June 19 2012

Plans, rumors, and war propaganda for attacking Syria and deposing Assad have been around for many months.

This past week however, it was reported that the Pentagon indeed has finalized plans to do just that. In my opinion, all the evidence to justify this attack is bogus. It is no more credible than the pretext given for the 2003 invasion of Iraq or the 2011 attack on Libya.

The total waste of those wars should cause us to pause before this all-out effort at occupation and regime change is initiated against Syria.

There are no national security concerns that require such a foolish escalation of violence in the Middle East. There should be no doubt that our security interests are best served by completely staying out of the internal strife now raging in Syria.

We are already too much involved in supporting the forces within Syria anxious to overthrow the current government. Without outside interference, the strife – now characterized as a civil war – would likely be non-existent.

Whether or not we attack yet another country, occupying it and setting up a new regime that we hope we can control poses a serious Constitutional question: From where does a president get such authority?

Since World War II the proper authority to go to war has been ignored. It has been replaced by international entities like the United Nations and NATO, or the President himself, while ignoring the Congress. And sadly, the people don’t object.

Our recent presidents explicitly maintain that the authority to go to war is not the U.S. Congress. This has been the case since 1950 when we were taken into war in Korea under UN Resolution and without Congressional approval.

And once again, we are about to engage in military action against Syria and at the same time irresponsibly reactivating the Cold War with Russia. We’re now engaged in a game of “chicken” with Russia which presents a much greater threat to our security than does Syria.

How would we tolerate Russia in Mexico demanding a humanitarian solution to the violence on the U.S.-Mexican border? We would consider that a legitimate concern for us. But, for us to be engaged in Syria, where the Russian have a legal naval base, is equivalent to the Russians being in our backyard in Mexico.

We are hypocritical when we condemn Russian for protecting their neighborhood interests for exactly what we have been doing ourselves, thousands of miles away from our shores. There’s no benefit for us to be picking sides, secretly providing assistance and encouraging civil strife in an effort to effect regime change in Syria.

Falsely charging the Russians with supplying military helicopters to Assad is an unnecessary provocation. Falsely blaming the Assad government for a so-called massacre perpetrated by a violent warring rebel faction is nothing more than war propaganda.

Most knowledgeable people now recognize that the planned war against Syria is merely the next step to take on the Iranian government, something the neo-cons openly admit.

Controlling Iranian oil, just as we have done in Saudi Arabia and are attempting to do in Iraq, is the real goal of the neo-conservatives who have been in charge of our foreign policy for the past couple of decades.

War is inevitable without a significant change in our foreign policy, and soon. Disagreements between our two political parties are minor. Both agree the sequestration of any war funds must be canceled. Neither side wants to abandon our aggressive and growing presence in the Middle East and South Asia.

This crisis building can easily get out of control and become a much bigger war than just another routine occupation and regime change that the American people have grown to accept or ignore.

It’s time the United States tried a policy of diplomacy, seeking peace, trade, and friendship. We must abandon our military effort to promote and secure an American empire.

Besides, we’re broke, we can’t afford it, and worst of all, we’re fulfilling the strategy laid out by Osama bin Laden whose goal had always been to bog us down in the Middle East and bring on our bankruptcy here at home.

It’s time to bring our troops home and establish a non-interventionist foreign policy, which is the only road to peace and prosperity.

This week I am introducing legislation to prohibit the Administration, absent a declaration of war by Congress, from supporting – directly or indirectly – any military or paramilitary operations in Syria. I hope my colleagues will join me in this effort.

IF ONLY.....

Ya' gotta love this one...

Very Special - NOT!

The Missouri chapter of the NAACP appealed for the U.S. Department of Justice and the Secret Service to launch an investigation and open a federal case against the rodeo clown who donned a mask of President Obama’s face and mocked with the crowd: Do you want to see a bull run down Mr. Obama?

The NAACP says the clown was guilty of inciting violence against the president.

You want to investigate the rodeo clown? Fine.

Let us know when you’re finished investigating Benghazi and the IRS then we’ll talk.

Sex Obsessed America - Why is Anthony's Weiner so important?

Check out my latest article on sexual immorality in America and the Anthony Weiner phenomenon. Why is it no one in DC can keep their pants pulled up?

Sex Obsessed America - Why is Anthony's Weiner so important?

Everywhere I go I see sex. It’s on billboards, store-front windows, the way women dress (or don’t dress) on television, in the movies. It’s on my computer screen to the point where I need a special software tool just to keep it from popping up (no pun intended). To someone on the outside of America looking in, it would appear that sex “owns” America.

So, why then, are we surprised at “the rise” (and fall and rise again) of Anthony and his Weiner? I’m sitting here in an internet café (and when someone walks in I glance up just to make sure they’re not pointing a gun at me) and I have to admit that most of the women who walk in here are dressed quite modestly. I really don’t believe most women want to get into Anthony Weiner’s pants. Of course, some men like to fantasize that women want them, but it’s just not true. Let’s face it – most rapists are men.

On the other hand, sex sells. That can’t be debated. Men, have you ever wondered why so many strangers are interested in the size of “your package”? Come on! Give me a break here! I don’t want a nutritional all natural supplement to make her happy and give her the size she deserves! That’s just gross! But, people wouldn’t be making and marketing this snake oil unless men were buying it.

I once read an article about a study claiming that men think about sex every seven seconds. That’s...

7/22/13 - A New Haven, Connecticut businessman was savagely beaten so bad by a gang of black teens that he doesn't even remember the incident. Yet the media isn't picking up the story and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson haven't been heard from on this. Oh that's right, it's black on white, not white on black. Never mind about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Even though the local news doesn't mention that the teens were black, the following article does:

According to a New Haven Police press release, witnesses said "between five and six black male teenagers rushed him, pushed him from the moving scooter, assaulted him, and fled with the scooter."

Macquarrie received 31 stitches and 8 staples in his scalp, two fractured ribs, a fracture to his right eye-socket, a broken nose and scrapes to his hands and legs.

What is Wrong With This Picture ?‏ Point and Counter-Point Presented Along With 'Magnitude Of Ignorance' Video

These 11 States now have more people on welfare than they do employed. Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support.

What's the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $20.00 an hour.

Mark Dice shows the liberal stereotype, to be sound. This is why America is in serious trouble. I am not a republican, nor do I support their views. I believe the republicans have sold their constituents to the liberals.

Obama supporters in San Diego, California petition to grant the President immunity for any crimes he has committed or will commit while in office. Media analyst and author Mark Dice simply asks random people if they'll sign a petition to support Obama by granting him immunity for his crimes, and one person right after the other signs it to show
support for dear leader.

4Chan Finds False Flag Suspects In Boston Marathon Bombing?

Wednesday, April 17,

Wow! Amazing detective work is being done by the 4Chan Think Tank and the internet community to pull this Boston Marathon false flag apart. You got to check out these pictures that they have assembled. I’ve only put a few of them into this story of the amazing amount that they have going but you have to check out these official looking military guys with black backpacks. Has 4Chan nabbed the ‘false flag’ perpetrators, caught on camera? Some of the pictures below seem to show two ‘cats’ that don’t belong at this ‘festival’. Or do they? Check out the video I’ve added at the bottom to the story. What’s that all about? They are all dressed nearly the exact same way. We also know that the emblem on his hat is used by US Navy Seals, as well as Blackwater/Xe/Academi, the mercenary army of Monsanto.

Will We Ever Learn, Is History About to Repeat Itself? Big Naval Screw UP in Norfolk, Va.

A photo of five U.S. nuclear aircraft carriers docked in Norfolk, Va., the world’s largest naval station, has gone viral on the Internet amid speculation the ships could be sitting ducks for a Pearl Harbor-type attack or were docked due to sequestration.
According to a U.S. Navy spokesman who spoke on background to WND/G2Bulletin, the first supposition is false while the second is partially true.

One website called it a “Big Mistake in Norfolk! Remember Pearl Harbor 1941″ and “an outrage of epic proportions.”
A caption at another website under a photo of the carriers said the Obama administration had ordered them into harbor for “routine” inspections and that heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the presumed violation of protocol.
Further comments said that the lineup was the first since Battleship Row in Pearl Harbor  was attacked by the Japanese on Dec. 7, 1941.
“Well, it’s not Pearl Harbor,” the Navy spokesman said. “We are living in a different world now and having them lined up is not unprecedented. Who is going to attack us?” he asked.
“We have multiple carriers in (port) at any one time,” he added.
The photo was taken before Christmas 2012, not early February 2013, the Navy spokesman pointed out, and the ships were in port for the Christmas holiday.
“We try to get ships back to port on holiday,” he said.
The carriers docked together in Norfolk were the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, USS George H.W. Bush, USS Enterprise, USS Harry S. Truman and the USS Abraham Lincoln.
According to the Navy spokesman, the USS Enterprise has been retired and is in the process of being dismantled.
The Enterprise is 50 years old. Once dismantled, the nuclear fuel will be removed and it will be towed to Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest for scrap.
The Eisenhower was deployed in mid-February and is on its way to the Persian Gulf where it will relieve the USS John C. Stennis. It had been at Norfolk for two months to get its flight deck resurfaced.
The Navy spokesman said that at all times there has been a carrier task force on duty in the Persian Gulf, contrary to speculation that even the Stennis carrier group had been recalled due to sequestration.

Speaking of Buds, Check This Out: $1M Of Pot Found On Beach Near Vandenberg Air Force Base!

Talk about aiming HIGH with a career in the Air Force.   If a boat with that much Pot located approximately 9.2 miles (14.8 km) northwest of Lompoc, California can crash onto a beach near an Air Force base that is responsible for: "Vandenberg AFB is a Department of Defense space and missile testing base, with a mission of placing satellites into polar orbit from the West Coast, using expendable boosters (Pegasus, Taurus, Minotaur, Atlas V and Delta IV). Wing personnel also support the Service's LGM-30G Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Force Development Evaluation program."

Where was our National Defense, out to lunch?

Says a lot about the department of Homeland Security and they want to take our guns!!!!!  Suppose it was a boat that had another more dangerous, explosive type cargo?   Feel Safe Yet?

Close to $1 million in pot was found on a beach this week near Vandenberg Air Force Beach.
The marijuana was found near a crashed boat on Thursday. The exact amount of pot wasn’t reported but officials estimate that the drugs had a value of about $1 million. Col. Nina Armagno, 30th Space Wing commander, did say that the marijuana probably took up the entire 20-foot boot. She also estimated that the bales were about 6 feet high.
Armagno said: “What it looks like to me are large bags, kind of like dark-colored trash bags, wrapped up and stacked, and actually they have been covered in what looks like an attempt to camouflage them with brush.”
Armagno said that a 20-foot long Panga boat was found on the beach. The engine had been removed but authorities weren’t sure if it had been removed on purpose or if it had broken off during the crash.
Armagno added: “Earlier this afternoon, our defenders discovered what appeared to be a large stash of illegal narcotics on our beach here at Vandenberg Air Force Base … We immediately secured the scene and started searching the beaches and the local area … I ordered all facilities to be searched and secured.”
Homeland Security took over the investigation in order to locate any potential suspects. Helicopters and boats have searched the waters surrounding the Air Force Base while officers searched the beaches on foot. So far, no arrests have been made.
Here’s a video of a Col. Nina Armagno speaking at a press conference.

"A Cut Above"; UPDATE 1-U.S. to allow small knives to be carried onto airplanes

* New rules go into effect April 25
* Changes to conform with international standards

* Flight attendants say change endangers passengers (Adds quotes from travelers)

By Deborah Charles

WASHINGTON, March 5 (Reuters) - The U.S. Transportation Security Administration said on Tuesday that travelers can soon bring small pocket knives on board airplanes for the first time since the Sept. 11 attacks, sparking outrage from flight attendants who said the decision would endanger passengers and crew.

The TSA said that effective April 25, it would allow knives with blades that are 2.36 inches (6 cm) or less in length and less than 1/2 inch (1-1/4 cm) wide. Other items that will be allowed on board again as part of a passenger's carry-on luggage include billiard cues, ski poles, hockey sticks and lacrosse sticks.

Items that had been prohibited like razors, box cutters or knives with a fixed blade are still not allowed on board.
TSA spokesman David Castelveter said the decision was made to bring U.S. regulations more in line with International Civil Aviation Organization standards and would also help provide a better experience for travelers.
"This is part of an overall Risk-Based Security approach, which allows Transportation Security officers to better focus their efforts on finding higher-threat items such as explosives," he said.
