ROGER STONE DARES DEMS TO LET HIM TESTIFY UNDER OATH IN PUBLIC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Libertarian firebrand and long-time Trump confident Roger Stone looks forward to an opportunity to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee about his alleged involvement with Russia to rig the 2016 election for Donald Trump.

But after a letter dated April 28 from the Senate Intelligence Committee, jointly signed by the Chairman, Republican Sen. Richard Burr and by the Vice Chairman, Democratic Sen. Mark Warner, asking Stone to make himself available for a “closed interview with designated committee staff” at a mutually agreeable time, Stone is not so sure the U.S. Congress wants the American people to hear his side of the story.

Democrats have been ambivalent about whether Stone needs to be made the villain for collaborating with the Russians as the “pièce d’résistance” of a political career in which he has played the role of “bad-boy dirty-trickster” with “aplomb and alacrity,” or to throw their hands up and admit the Russian gambit was always just a Hillary Clinton baseless excuse for her historic loss.

If a U.S. citizen is caught up in incidental intelligence collection, that person’s name cannot be revealed unless the intelligence agency that gathered the information agrees to a request to “unmask” that American person’s name.

“How many of those requests did you get in 2016?” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) asked Admiral Michael Rogers at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Tuesday. Rogers heads both the National Security Agency and the U.S. Cyber Command.

“I think we’ve publicly acknowledged something – it’s 2,000. I think it’s one thousand nine-hundred and something,” Rogers replied.

“How many people can request the unmasking of an American citizen?” Graham continued.

Supreme Court Ruling: NO Islam In Public Schools…

The full panel of nine Supreme Court justices met to decide the fate of Islam taught in public schools. Under Obama’s lead schools were teaching that Islam is a peaceful religion, even though all of our real life examples contradict that.

Treddify reported that Judge Neil Gorsuch cast the tie-breaking vote. The 5-4 ruling was that the only part of Islam history taught in public schools will be Radical Islam and what students can do to help stop it.

Judge Gorsuch wrote, “The government certainly has no business being involved in religion, but this isn’t a government issue or a religious issue. This is about the judicial branch interpreting the laws as they apply to the teaching of religion. We should be
teaching any religions in this country besides standard Judeo-Christianity, as our founders wanted, and we certainly shouldn’t be filling the children with lies about Islam being a ‘religion of peace’ when they see the carnage on the news almost every day.”

Gorsuch continued, “It is our duty as Americans first and judges second to safeguard the way our children are indoctrinated.”

Deadly 'superbug' fungus emerging in U.S. hospitals

A deadly "superbug" fungus that is hard to spot and harder to kill is slowly infiltrating U.S. hospitals, health experts say.

Candida auris enters the bloodstream, spreads throughout the body and causes a variety of infections, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns. More than 60 cases have been identified in the U.S., all but a few of them in New York and New Jersey. The CDC has alerted hospitals and other health care facilities across the nation to watch out for the relatively new fungus.

The fungus can be passed between people or through the environment from such things as hospital equipment, says Dr. Tom Chiller, chief of the CDC’s Mycotic (fungal) Diseases Branch.

Some strands of the fungus found in other countries have been resistant to the three classes of anti-fungal medicine, he said.

"We are dealing with an organism we don’t have drugs to treat. That is what worries us," Chiller told USA TODAY. "What we have seen (in the U.S. so far) has been treatable. We are trying to aggressively contain it, stop it and kill it."

Part of Trump’s January executive order on immigration included a threat to withhold federal funding from those cities that provide a ‘sanctuary’ to illegal immigrants. Law enforcement in sanctuary cities are not required to ask those who are detained or arrested whether or not they’re in the country illegally.
But on Tuesday, a U.S. District Judge in California blocked that part of the executive order when Santa Clara County and San Francisco filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration. The Associated Press reported:

Defense Secretary James Mattis said during a news conference in Kabul that the United States will “engage with Russia diplomatically” where possible, but hinted that action to challenge Russia may be necessary.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) is slated to pay her daughter another $108,000 for running a lucrative campaign operation that pulls in hundreds of thousands of dollars each election cycle, FEC filings show.
Karen Waters, the daughter of Rep. Waters, collected nearly $650,000 to date for running the operation for her mother's campaign.
Karen is in charge of a "slate mailer" operation for Citizens for Waters, Rep. Waters' federal campaign committee. Slate mailers, or endorsement mailers, involve a candidate or political group paying for the endorsement of another politician.

Federal authorities have open investigations into radical Islamic terrorists in all 50 states, according to the Department of Homeland Security, which is warning that the threat of terrorism in the United States has reached an all time high with radicalized individuals in the country plotting to strike "each and every single day."
The FBI has "open terrorist investigations in all 50 states," according to DHS Secretary John Kelly, who disclosed on Tuesday that there have been at least 37 "ISIS-linked plots to attack our country" since 2013, a number that shows no signs of diminishing.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has officially put nine sanctuary cities on notice that some of the federal grants they currently are receiving will soon be revoked if they fail to prove they are in compliance with what they seem to think is the “antiquated” concept of obeying US immigration laws.
On Friday the Department of Justice sent letters to eight cities and one county warning them to discontinue their current practice of limiting communications with the Department of Homeland Security in the areas of “information regarding the immigration or citizenship status” of prisoners.
