Economic Conditions Are Not Stable, Despite What Is Printed Or Pushed

How is the Recovery going? The Change is certainly different than what was talked on the campaign trail during the last 'leaf peeper' season. Somehow we are supposed to be doing better. Right? After all the "hypes and pomps" get finished, the pile of celebrative leftovers gets cleaned up, and a reality check is done. Guess what will be found? A job market so competitive for newly 'released' scholars that even going into the woods to earn a living will be something to only read about. Maine's history has always offered those eager and willing to enter the logging industry a chance to find their merits fruitful.

But now we have the paper mill in Jay being mothballed, BIW facing 'predicted' layoffs and Northern Maine suffering a lull in logging that drags the voices of Augusta into the mix.
