."..The Lady with the Fire,,,"... How Time Just Burns Away

The original crown....this was very moving to see as this is the the first thing my grandparents saw when they arrived in NYC. I remember my grandmother talking about the Lady holding the fire...a Lisbon resident was quoted as saying during a recent visit to the Statue of Liberty.

This is the actual torch that was displayed. It is being kept inside and preseved because of recent corrosion discoveries and corrections.
