Diane Nadeau Appointed to the New England Library Association's Executive Board

In 1993, Diane Nadeau was appointed as the first director of the Lisbon Library Department and was tasked with pulling together the resources of the Lisbon Village and Lisbon Falls Libraries. Since day one, she expressed that the public was welcomed to provide feedback regarding the operational issues, services, and programs for all ages. With almost 25+ years experience as Director of the Library system, Diane was recently appointed to the New England Library Association's Executive Board to represent all Maine Libraries. This appointment is not only prestigious but it is a reward for all her hard work and efforts. Being modest she recognizes the appointment as an accomplishment but sees it as a real opportunity for her library team to serve the Lisbon communities in a much larger way.
