In front of the same "invited" audience attendees as Tues. Night's Council Meeting, where "The Big" Chief of Police performed a spectacular display of "Police Professionalism at work", not, Council Chair Mike Bowie made the announcement to the audience that Councilor Cote remains on the town council.
Why? The slanderous, misinformed, libelous accusations made by Brooks, and belittlement of Roger Cote by Brooks, his supporters and neighbors, all were for nothing.
If Brooks had confirmed his information before presenting it like he did, in the forum as he did,
he should, after all 30+ years as a Cop, realized that everything he was talking about occurred before Roger Cote even was elected to the Town Council.
Oh Wait, maybe this is SOP for the LPD. Their track record over some recent investigations surely supports this thought.
Is this yet, another great example of the Lisbon Police practices?
Maybe the officer's only need better leadership.
Brooks retired once from Lisbon.
Is there doom and gloom on the horizon for Lisbon Police Chief David T. Brooks?
He may well be on his way to a new career.
The scores for Brooks' performance are coming in rapidly.
Stay tuned for more information to follow.
