Do you suppose that if OUR town leadership had not graciously given out pay raises to the employees, some 1.75% plus $10k to some department heads that the streets that are now darkened could have stayed lighted?
Presume OUR leadership is doing a great job of taking care to assure the safety for everyone traveling around Lisbon & Lisbon Falls. They have just repeated exactly what the selectmen did a few years ago also. Turn out the lights and then after enough people complained turned them all back on again. And some say history doesn't repeat itself.

Yes! It is terrible the bus service is stopping. I am
wondering if there is a grant writer at Town Hall. Most towns have
someone writing grants all the time. There has to be some funds out
there to keep a city of 9K in a bus service.
