Lisbon Class of 2024 Get A Jump on College‏

Lisbon Community School Kindergarten Students Get a Jump on College

Lisbon - Lisbon Community School kindergarteners participated in a kickoff assembly for the College for ME Day sporting new, custom designed t-shirts for the event.  Shirts displayed their anticipated year of graduation. The event was held on Tuesday, November 15, at LCS, 33 Mill Street in Lisbon.  Sponsored by College for Me-Androscoggin (www.collegeformeandroscoggin.org), every school district in Androscoggin County participated with more than 1,300 kindergarten students (including some from Franklin and Oxford County) receiving t-shirts. The events helped to officially kick off College For Me Androscoggin's “Fall into College” campaign.  The shirts which read “Future College Graduate”, have the kindergarten students' high school graduation year and high school, as well as the logos of all the colleges and universities in Androscoggin County.

“I am looking forward to presenting these young Lisbon School scholars their diplomas in 2024,” shares Superintendent Richard Green.
