The Lisbon Police Department, partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency, has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29,  for residents looking for safe disposal of their unwanted, unused prescription drugs. The Police Department has a collection container, funded by Healthy Androscoggin, in the lobby of the station. This collection site will be available Saturday and 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year. Scott Gagnon, above left, of Healthy Androscoggin, stands beside the container with Lisbon Police Chief David Brooks. Medication will be turned over to DEA to be incinerated according to federal and state environmental guidelines. For more information, visit www.dea.gov. Inquiries can be made at 1-800-882-9539.
