Police salaries‏, "Why Town Manager Eldridge, Town Council, and Chief of Police Brooks do not want the public to vote on the town budget"

The heading for the Lisbon Police Department salaries should have been,

"Why Town Manager Eldridge, Town Council, and Chief of Police Brooks do not want the public to vote on the town budget".

Look what is happening in Auburn. The public has voted the school budget down, twice!

I was just speaking to a Lisbon resident and taxpayer on not being able to vote on the town budget. He said "This is our money they are spending. Why aren't we allowed to vote on it? " (The budget).
