The PW Sugg Greyhounds earned their third victory this season in an
active bout with the visiting Cony Rams with a final score of 5-1.
The 'Hounds took control of the midfield from the beginning of the
game and from there initiated repeated attacks resulting in 14 shots
on the Cony Keeper with the first to hit the back of the net 16
minutes into the game off of the foot of Striker Jonah Sautter (15)
who would then send in a PK for one more point before the end of the
half. 5 minutes into the start of the second half, Cony's Nate Ladd
(16) snuck the Rams only goal past 'Hound Keeper Levi Levesque (1) and
denied a shutout. Lisbon then responded with 3 more goals to clinch
the win, all of them with exceptional passing between 'Hounds like
Noah Austin (8) and Glenn Hill (7) who connected with Sautter who was
the finisher that put the ball past Cony's Goalie each time.
The [3-6] Greyhounds' next game will be away with their sole
opportunity against Monmouth's Mustangs, Thursday, October 24.
