Question: If one picture is worth one thousand words, what are five pictures worth?
Swift demolition is not so swift. Nor is the town for not putting there foot down on this disaster. That is prime river front property yet it sit derelict for years. Disgraceful!
Dot, I would suggest using newer photos, but it wouldn't really help ...
Mary-Ann, I am not sure what Mr. Eldridge had to do with closing Knight-Celotex
False Deluder? really you feel you need to use a pseudonym for this post? I agree that Swift demolition has not been so swift and that the town should have been more diligent in keeping them on task. I do however have faith in both the new code enforcement officer and incoming Town Manager to ensure this problem is addressed.
Gregg, Eldridge probably had nothing to do with closing this mill. I was referencing the fact that these pictures are an analogy to his demolition of the Town's finances, reputation, and finally doing the dirty work Brooks and Bowie ordered him to do.
Gregg, how much newer do you suggest those photos are about 24 hours old. Are you able to get fresher ones to prove Your point? Or are you just spouting off, again?
Certainly you must have more important things to do as a councilor than belittle Dot over nothing!

The Town of Lisbon's homage to Steve Eldridge. What a fitting legacy.

I thought that was the point of the council. ...to distract people attention away from the real issues by pointing to irrelevant ones.
