Contrary to media expectations, anti-Muslim statements made by Republican candidates Donald Trump and Ben Carson not only haven’t destroyed their campaigns, they have made the two leading contenders more popular than ever before.

VOA News Muslims in America responded with a mix of frustration, exasperation and anger to what many see as a growing wave of ~~Islamophobia~~ justifiable anti-Muslim sentiment fueled by two of the Republican Party’s most popular presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Ben Carson.
