LISBON STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AT REGION 10 TECHNICAL

– Two Lisbon High School students, Peter Bucher and Stevie Charest were
recognized at Region Ten Technical High School as Students of the
Quarter during the Recognition Breakfast held at the school on Friday,
February 13.

Bucher is enrolled in the Auto Collision Repair course and Charest is studying to be an EMT.
Hard
work and consistent work really do pay off. Peter has perfect
attendance, is attentive, routinely makes a good effort, is respectful
of his classmates and instructors, is cooperative and helpful, and
generally has shown that he has what it takes to be successful. His
grade is A+. His instructor describes Peter as a model student who is
great to have in class. Peter's comment on being named Student of the
Quarter - "This is great!"
At
Region Ten, students complete an application as part of enrolling here,
Stevie is the only person who has ever submitted her application with a
resume and a cover letter. Stevie exhibits exceptional interaction
during class, creates discussion, asks questions, pays attention and
spends time outside of class on course work. Stevie also shows
leadership abilities and peer support to fellow students. Stevie's
comment on being named Student of the Quarter - "My hard work is paying
off!"
