Need a ride? Can you offer a ride?
Do you know someone who is elderly and or shut in and unable to get out to vote when elections come around?
Are you perhaps willing and able to assist with providing someone with a ride?
We are looking to start a list of people who might benefit from such a service as well as a list of those who are willing to donate their time for such a cause.
Please join me in assisting our citizens of the Lisbon/Lisbon Falls communities to get out and vote.
We are looking for drivers and people in need of assistance from both communities. Please make sure you hold a valid drivers license and are an insured driver. We want to ensure safe transportation of the folks in our community. Please, no drivers under 18 years of age.
Presently there are no handicapped accessible vehicles to assist those with special needs. Feel free to check back later to see if this is a service that becomes available.
Please email the information as follows:
For someone who needs a ride (with their permission to add them)
Name, address and telephone number and any special needs if applicable i.e. uses a walker, cane, needs help with stairs, etc.
For someone who can assist with rides:
Name, telephone number, if preferred-ward you will transport people to and the hours you are available to assist and number of passengers you can accommodate.

Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated. We don't have anything to offer as payment or reimbursement other than a big thank you and the knowledge of knowing you have helped someone who was in need.
Sincerely,
Michelle Turmelle
