Announcing Aubuchon Open House Weekend!

Photobucket

TLR recently made a trip to view the new Aubuchon store on Rt. 196 in Lisbon. In a single word - WOW!

They are holding an Open House this weekend, with free popcorn and prize drawings all day Saturday, as well as a barbecue, live radio broadcast, and educational animal show from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The interior square footage of the store has been more than doubled, from 5500 to almost 12000 sq. ft., giving them the opportunity to not only offer expanded product lines in every category carried in the old store, but new departments, making it a convenient one-stop shopping experience.

The first area TLR noticed upon walking into the store was the HUGE Farm and Feed display. Besides the typical bird seeds, feeders and pet foods, Aubuchon is now a local source of quality Purina farm feeds, including items for horses, poultry, rabbits, goats, sheep, pigs and other livestock. This weekend they are offering a Buy 1 Get 1 Free special on Purina Mills Feed. The Horse & Livestock section alone includes fly & insect control, grooming supplies, horse supplements, horse tack, horse treats & toys, horse wormers & vaccines, and livestock health care supplies as well as electric fence and other fencing supplies.
The Cat & Dog area contains anything you can think of, from collars, leashes and harnesses, to toys, treats, and grooming supplies, and they will also continue to offer the Buy 10 Get 1 Free promotion on Nutro brand dog foods. They also carry items for fish, reptiles, and other small animals like ferrets and guinea pigs. Wild bird & squirrel supplies includes all types of bird feeders including hummingbird and suet, bird houses, poles & baffles, squirrel feeders and squirrel food.

An area you can't miss is the clothing and shoe department, where they feature a large assortment of Carhartt clothing and Wolverine boots, among other brands. They also carry rain boots and Croc-type shoes. This is adjacent to the display of pellet and woodstoves, and even at this time of year they had a few outdoor fire pits, patio furniture and grills on display.

Another addition to the new store is the Rental department. The store offers an amazing variety items for rent, such as a hot dog steamer, aluminum siding brake, coffeemakers, 36” power trowel, popcorn machine, ladders, a huge lobster kettle, DeWalt generators, a pre-assembled “kit” of items needed to thaw pipes, and a full line of Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, and Bostitch power tools.

They even have a display of school supplies! TLR expects the new store will prove to be a successful addition to the growing area around Capital Avenue, and to store manager Ryan Lamb and his crew, TLR extends best wishes and congratulations on their new location!

Oh, and when you stop in, tell them you saw the article on the Lisbon Reporter!
