On Thursday 10/28, Lisbon Sugg middle school girls’ soccer lost 3x2 against Winthrop.
Greyhounds
dominated the ball possession most of the game, created a many
opportunities of goal, but unfortunately Winthrop scored more times.
Center
Backs Chandler Riordan and Kailyn Hill stopped many attacks from
Winthrop, except for the three that ended up in goals. Goalie Dakota
Bisson made several saves and came out of the goal many times to get the
ball from the opponent’s feet.
Midfielder
Abby Gamache showed great hustle by fighting for every ball in the
middle. Greyhound’s offense line played aggressive and intensely, making
several shots in the opponent’s goal. Center Forward Ashley Conrad once
more left her mark by scoring Lisbon’s two goals.
Lisbon Sugg middle school girls’ next game is Friday, 10/29 at 3:30 pm, an away game against St. Michael’s.
