Reply to Gregg:
The
tractor trailer parked on Scottsdale Ave. is a secondary issue. It is
clearly there illegally. (A road generally is Measured from the center
of the street well past the edge of the asphalt.) I wont bore you
quoting the statutes.
I am more concerned that our Police department is apparently
selectively enforcing the regulations. This is even more egregious given
that the owner of one of the rigs
has a vote on the police departments budget. This gives the appearance of a possible conflict.
Laws are made for everyone to follow not just the few.
We must also consider the other residents on the street. Most
people in a nice housing development don't want big rigs running up and
down the streets.
If I am not mistaken we paid a lot of money to repave Wing Street a
little while ago. I dont want my taxes going up to repave again in the
near future.
I agree with you we have been bringing this to the towns attention a
lot lately. The answer isn't to just ignore the problem. I feel the
solution is for the Police to put an end to this and stop ignoring the
violations. If the police cant handle the small infractions how can we
trust them with the larger ones..

If Brooks was not geting his dick wet on Scotsdale and having his budget protected this problem would have been delt with years ago.
