On
October 18, 2012 Lisbon's Middle School cross country attended the
League Invitational meet at Cony. It turned out to be a great afternoon
for the girls and the boys teams. Kailyn Le ran a great race placing
her in the top twelve with 4th place out of 66 runners. Bailey Eveson
finished strong coming 24th out of the 66 runners. Emily Chase ran a
great race while achieving her personal best time for the season.
Lisbon's boys team placed 3rd out of 7 teams at Cony's League
invitationals! Geoffrey Shambarger finished his race with determination
and achieving his personal best for the season. Jacob Brooks ran a
strong race with perseverance. Mitchell Porter finished the race with
an incredible kick at the end to close the gap with the boy in front of
him. Silas Crosby was able to achieve his personal best time for this
season. Kyle Provencal finished the race neck and neck with a runner
from Cony as Kyle pulled just head of the Cony runner at the finish
line! Finishing in the top twelve out of 77 and receiving a 7th place
ribbon was Michael Schlotterbeck and receiving a 5th place ribbon was
Josiah Kenney. Congratulations to all ten of the Lisbon runners for
running with determination and persistence!
