Lisbon – Students in the third grade classes of teachers Sue Hardison and Ashley LaCroix at Lisbon Community School, 33 Mill Street in Lisbon, invited retired teacher, Grant Connors of Durham, to share his experiences with habitat environments. Mr. Connors volunteers his time in Durham and Lisbon schools to educate children on various science concepts. He operates a “Critter Catcher” business, humanly and safely trapping nuisance wildlife and relocates them. Lisbon students participated in a worm project during Mr. Connor’s visit.
