This was Lisbon's first year in the CMFL 3rd & 4th grade football league and they came out with fire in their bellies.
Having been handed only two losses in the regular season to undefeated Winthrop, Lisbon earned a spot at the Championship game on Thursday, October 30th believing anything is possible.
They were right. Lisbon won the Championship game 14-6. The defense was spectacular and the offense never quit. The Lisbon coaching staff is very proud of the hard work and dedication the players provided.
Congratulations to you all for an outstanding accomplishment.
