Lies and More Lies‏

I have attended every Town Council meetings, workshop and Budget meetings for several years.
I heard Chief of Police David Brooks brag about the grants he has brought to the Town of Lisbon to "save" taxpayers money. and now it's all a lie! ! ! ! ? ? ? ?

I have seen Town Manager Stephen Eldridge and Council Chairman Fern Larochelle beam at Brooks when bragging about the grants, a $97,000 grant for his communication Center, a $19,000 matching grant for ergonomically correct furniture for his Communication Center.

Is it any wonder Town Manager Eldridge and The Town Council want to abolish the Budget Advisory Board and establish a Finance Committee appointed, (handpicked) by said Town Manager Eldridge and the Town Council?

That is why I am voting NO on the Town Charter change establishing a Finance Committee, and why I am writing in Roger Joseph Cote for Councilor at Large on November 6, 2012.

This is the first step in bringing back honesty and transparency to Town of Lisbon Government.

This is also the reason I am voting NO on the town taking over running the Water Department.
