The PWS Greyhounds held their heads high after being edged out in a
2-3 tooth and nail bout with the Monmouth Mustangs. As both teams
stepped onto the field confident of their own talents, it was Mustang
Hunter Richardson who first put the ball in the goal after a hard
fought 15 minutes of game time. Lisbon's Left Wing Jonah Sautter
responded just a minute and a half later assisted by 'Hound Captain
Brad Boulet to tie it up and then with only 9 seconds left in the half
Striker Ryley Austin booted one in assisted by Right Wing Dylan George
to put the Greyhounds in the lead. The second half had even more
action as both continued to fight for every bit of turf but Monmouth
managed to find the net twice to regain the lead for the win.
The [3-6-2] Greyhounds play their final game away against St. Mike's on
Thursday, October 25.
