#11 Noah Austin managing the ball while covered by two Bobcat defenders.
The PWS Greyhounds had victory snatched from them in an exhausting 2-5 season opener with the Richmond Bobcats. Greyhound Captain #11 Noah Austin was the first to score early in the game with teammate Left Wing #3 DJ Douglass putting in another with aggressive assistance from players like Right Wing #4 Scott Smith. It wasn't until late in the first half that #5 Danny Stewart put the Bobcats on the scoreboard. In the end it was Richmond who maintained pressure in the second half on a worn 'Hound defense with Richmond's #15 Cam Dunton and Danny Stewart each putting in 2 more goals past Lisbon's returning Keeper Levi Levesque who had already denied 11 Bobcat shots. Lisbon will play their next game away at Maranacook on Thursday, September 18.
Truths in Life
1) Everything that happens, happens for a reason. Luck does not exist.
2) In this existence we are either part of the problem or part of the solution. The choice is ours.
3) We aren't defined by our circumstances but by our reactions to them. Crisis reveals character.
