Thirteen U.S. soldiers were enjoying some down time at a night club when a Muslim migrants attacked one of their comrades, stabbing him with a knife. In response to the asylum seekers’ assault, the military men intervened to defend their friend. However, when police arrived, they instead arrested all of the soldiers for one sickening reason.
At least 12 out of 13 U.S. soldiers stationed in Italy have been arrested and charged after a massive brawl erupted at a night club in Bassano del Grappa when a serviceman was attacked by a Senegalese migrant and his friends. Il Giornale di Vicenza reports that when one of the soldiers was stabbed in the back by the African asylum seeker in the club, the rest of his comrades immediately came to his rescue — which is exactly what got them all arrested.
A Marine wrongfully accused of killing civilians says that President Obama’s new Afghanistan war commander is unqualified to lead coalition forces.
In January President Obama tapped Army Lt. Gen. John Nicholson to lead the war in Afghanistan, as the administration confronted the possibility of a long-term troop presence in the country. Nicholson, an Army Ranger, sailed through Senate confirmation on Feb. 4.
The hasty confirmation disappointed retired Marine Major Fred Galvin.
“It is never good for a foot soldier when this guy is in charge,” Galvin told the Washington Free Beacon in a telephone interview from his Kansas home. “I don’t consider him a military leader. He’s a politician.”

Breitbart U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has been found dead at a luxury resort in west Texas, news outlets are reporting. The Justice apparently died of natural causes in his sleep after a day of quail hunting at Cibolo Creek Ranch near Marfa, Texas.
Scalia, 79, arrived at the ranch for a hunting trip on Friday and attended a private party with about 40 people, the San Antonio Express News reported. Scalia did not show up for a scheduled breakfast. Staff members of the resort went to find the justice and instead found his body.
I think we need to ask ourselves at this time, what are our values? I ask this question especially as it relates to our military. There is a focused persecution of chaplains. We have a Secretary of the Navy more concerned about gender-neutral duty positions than Sailors being taken at gunpoint and made to kneel, while video of the embarrassing incident proliferates across the globe. The enemy wanders terra firma and enacts countless savage and barbaric actions, but the commander-in-chief chooses to lecture about being nice.
And so I have to ask, what are our values as a nation and within our military? I have another case to present.

Free Beacon Colorado veterans seeking health care from the Department of Veterans Affairs faced excessive wait times and, in some instances, denied care, according to a new watchdog report.
The VA inspector general found that dozens of veterans faced excessive wait times for care at a Colorado Springs outpatient clinic. Long wait times were covered up by scheduling staffers who used the wrong dates to make it appear that patients faced shorter wait times.

President Obama’s nominee to head U.S. Central Command recently penned a memo to Defense Secretary Ash Carter demanding that the Pentagon stop discussing the operations of elite American troops.
Foreign Policy, which obtained an excerpt of the memo, reported that Gen. Joseph Votel, currently the chief of U.S. Special Operations Command, wrote the December 8 memo to express concern about the Obama administration’s exposure of special operations forces’ activities.
“I am concerned with increased public exposure of SOF activities and operations, and I assess that it is time to get our forces back into the shadows,” Votel wrote to Carter.
Speaking at his event on Thursday night, Donald Trump was given an "honor ring" by three veterans from the charity 22Kill, to wear as a constant reminder about the struggle veterans often face when they return home. The charity's name is in reference to the 22 veterans who commit suicide each day. The ring, which is designed to be worn on the trigger finger, is a “silent salute” to veterans.
Army Human Resources Command has recommended that the Green Beret who confronted an Afghan police commander for raping a young boy be kicked out of the service.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.), who has pushed back against the Army’s decision to punish Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland, revealed the development in a letter to Sen. Pat Roberts (R., Kansas) Wednesday.
“Recently, a decision within Army Human Resources Command recommended that the Army uphold the judgment that Martland be removed from service, although a final decision has yet to be made about his future,” Hunter wrote.
While serving in Afghanistan in 2011, Martland and another soldier confronted an Afghan Local police commander at an outpost for kidnapping and repeatedly raping a young boy, reportedly throwing the man to the ground and physically ejecting him from the base.

Gen. James Mattis, known to his troops as “Mad Dog Mattis,” is retiring after 41 years of military service. The Marine Corps Times is calling Mattis the “most revered Marine in a generation.”
