CAFR1 ~ The Gov Pension Fund / System Scam ~
CAFR1 NATIONAL
POST
ARTICLE ARCHIVED AT - http://CAFR1.com/gpfsc.html
| How the public
(and government employees) are being played for useful
idiots - The Gov Pension Fund / System Scam by Walter Burien - CAFR1 05/16/15 The new GAP accounting implemented over the last 8 years established by GASB.org requires local government accounting to project all liability as if it is due today. This means pension fund accounting (and other local government funds) are required to project out 35 years to satisfy ALL projected payments to participants with what they will be paid AT TIME OF RETIREMENT. They use max projections there. EXAMPLE: Employee making 50K today at retirement after pay increases, projected inflation, etc., will be making 185K. Additionally, THEY DO NOT account for the projected income for the fund out 35 years in full. They redact much. So based on the new accounting, a pension fund that may have been 150% funded today, in the snap of the finger could now be adjusted to being 60% funded. (40% underfunded) Motive? The larger the investment fund balance for that local government, the bigger the power base. Where those funds are invested domestic and international creates the biggest payola network globally times thousands of different local government funds/systems of the same. Another point most employees and taxpayers are not aware of is: Most local government pension funds / systems are "Strictly Participatory". What that means is the employee does not own 1c of the fund, they just have in so many words a "Ticket to Ride" under contract terms. The local government owns 100% of the fund balance. Now if the employees owned 100% of the balance, the accounting local governments are doing would be 100% fraud and an indictable offense under SEC law and fiduciary ethics guidelines. Most fund balances are so large they do not require contributions from the employee or tax payer, rates of return are primarily meeting requirements. Plus if the employees owned the fund balance it would be required to give each a pro-rated value of each employees ownership in $$ terms each year. If that was the case and done my would those participating employees get a big surprise. Long-term participants, they would see their ownership value at on the low side $650,000 to on the high side $3,500,000. But being that these funds are Strictly Participatory (similar to the Social Security fund) SEC laws and fiduciary fund management guidelines only require that those "Tickets to Ride" under contract are in line to be satisfied based on the GUIDELINES that local government is operating under.(and they create their own guidelines) TREASON: "Treason doth never prosper; what's the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it treason." Sir John Harrington, 1561-1612 Please share, publish, and post my comments with others (especially those government employees who are participating with these funds/systems) Walter Burien - CAFR1.com P. O. Box 2112 Saint Johns, AZ 85936 PS: Federal groups like FBI agents have profit sharing pensions. They see each year the value of "their" share in the Pension they are enrolled as an "owner". Back in the 90's their eyes must have been bulging out of their head when they looked. They saw they would get 175% to 250% over what they were expecting to get at retirement based on fund performance. __________________________________ CAFR1's REPLY ABOVE TO THE ARTICLE THAT FOLLOWS:

How Illinois "Pension Debt Blew Up Chicago's Credit"
by Allan Sloan, The Washington
Post, and Cezary Podkul , ProPublica, May 13,
2015
Former Illinois Gov.
Pat Quinn, with state lawmakers behind him, smiles while
signing pension overhaul legislation in 2013. The law was
invalidated by the state Supreme Court on
Friday.
"The borrowing is taking the pressure off politicians from actually facing the actual reforms that need to happen on these pension systems," said Ted Dabrowski, vice president of policy at the Illinois Policy Institute in Chicago. "You've got a situation where the system is no longer sustainable, whether it's New Jersey or Illinois."

NaturalNews: Democrats try to halt secretive TPP trade deal while Obama and Republicans push for passage
The TPP trade deal is a threat to all Americans. It hands powerful corporations global monopolies on seeds, medicine and more.
Many fear the TPP could criminalize seed saving, medicinal herbs and superfood supplements.
Strangely, Republicans are allied with Obama on pushing this secretive TPP even though we're not allowed to know what's in it!
Democrats, led by Sen. Ron Wyden, have halted the effort for now, thankfully.
They're engaged in political combat with Obama to try to stop the TPP before we all lose even more freedoms in America:

BDN: U.S. News & World Report lists 17 Maine high schools among nation’s best
Could Lisbon Make This List Someday?
Perhaps With People Working Together Instead of Against It Could Happen!
By Nick McCrea, BDN Staff
BANGOR, Maine — Seventeen Maine schools appear on the 2015 U.S. News and World Report’s list of best high schools in the country, five of which didn’t make the list last year.
Brewer High School, which didn’t make the 2014 list, jumped to 669 in the national rankings and No. 5 in Maine. Other schools that earned a new spot on the list include Boothbay Region High School, Gorham High School, Sanford High School and Madawaska Middle/High School.
“This is the first time anyone recalls Brewer High School being ranked in Maine’s top five,” Brewer Superintendent Jay McIntire said in a Tuesday email sent to school officials. “This is another great honor for the City of Brewer, for Principal [David] Wall, and the many teachers, other employees, students, and families that make ours an up-and-coming high school in Maine, and now recognized nationally.”Continue reading here.

Lisbon – Lisbon High School, Principal Nicholas Gannon, announced the Students of the 3rd Quarter during a school-wide assembly on Friday, May 8. Parents, grandparents, and siblings of the recipients were invited to the stage during the award presentations to congratulate students. Students are nominated by staff members for their community service, academics, co-curricular activities, sports participation, good citizenship and overall positive reflection of the student body.
Awards this quarter were presented to senior, Patrick Dexler. Dexler is the son of Nancy and Michael Dexler of Lisbon. “Patrick is a strong, conscientious student. He is an active member of the Technology Club and assists with PC issues for assemblies, drama shows and staff,” shares Gannon. “Patrick has taken all available computer classes, including independent study courses. He has the ability to understand and expand the complex logical operational processes required for computer programming.” Patrick earned the title of captain of the Science Olympiad team and won first place in the Bungee Drop event. Nicholas Huston, son of Janice and Terry Huston of Lisbon Falls, was the junior student of the quarter. “Nicholas works hard to achieve the grades he feels he deserves. He is willing to work after school and during study halls to get tutorials or rework assignments that do not meet the standard,” comments Gannon. “He has excellent work habits, high standards for success, and strong drive and determination. He is a member of the soccer and track teams and gives 100% every day in practice and games.” Nicholas is a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions and Science Olympiad team. His engineering designs earned him a first and fourth place showing this year. Hayley Wheeler is a member of the sophomore class. She is the daughter of Michelle Wheeler of Lisbon. “Hayley is a member of the Community Service junior volunteer group and is an excellent student who cares about her grades and about exceeding the standard in all of the work she does,” according to Gannon. “She is involved in class activities, frequently volunteering for fundraising. Hayley is a kind and respectful person.” Hayley is a member of the soccer team and is a positive role model for other students. Freshman of the quarter was awarded to Tyler Fowler, the son of Amanda Coyne of Lisbon. “Tyler is consistently prepared with clear goals and a plan to achieve them,” according to Gannon. “He turns in quality work and makes an effort to use teacher feedback to make improvements to his work. He is able to do this because he often works ahead of deadlines.” Tyler stands his ground in challenging situations and is very respectful. Tyler is successful due to his diligence and determination to succeed.
Students are presented with a plaque, school supplies, a library pass and gift certificates from Lisbon’s partners in education, Dunkin’ Donuts and the YMCA in Auburn.
