(Via The Hill) Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Wednesday promised that any Justice Department review of possible criminal charges connected to Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information would be “independent,” without regard to politics or outside influence.
While a recommendation from the FBI about how to proceed could be months away, Lynch promised House lawmakers that the Justice Department’s course of action will be guided by the law alone.

Hillary Clinton made her typical, insincere, meretricious speech in Nevada after being declared the winner of the caucuses.
If you take her words at face value they seem generous and cozy. If you read between the words you hear the music of selfishness and the cacophony of deception.
This may be the best reason yet to vote for Donald Trump. The candidate was a guest on Fox News’ Hannity Show with Sean Hannity on Monday night. The show was being taped in front of a crowd of Nevada voters, giving the GOP frontrunner ample opportunity to work the crowd for votes.
Boy, did he ever succeed in making a splash with the Nevada crowd.
When Hannity asked Mr. Trump if, as President, he would have his Attorney General prosecute Hillary Clinton, Trump’s response brought immense joy to the crowd.
[SPEISA] The Pentagon has responded to a globally-released ‘Kill List’, asking law enforcement to give extra protection for military personnel whose personal information was released, News Channel 10 reports.

Via Breibart A new bill to swiftly return illegal immigrant minors to their home countries has been introduced by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) 80% and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) 60%.
On Tuesday, Sessions and Johnson announced the legislation to eliminate loopholes that allow unaccompanied minors from countries that don’t border the U.S. to remain in the U.S.

The 9-page plan–read together with the administration’s legal analysis of the immigration consequences if some of the remaining 91 Guantanamo detainees were brought to the United States–was predictably vague on crucial details and landed with a dull thud on Capitol Hill, and for good reason.
The administration calls the document sent to the hill a plan, but it is not so much as plan as it is a sketch of what they have done to date. The “plan” includes four parts:

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Wednesday that federal law flatly prevents President Obama from sending of the the detainees from Guantanamo Bay to U.S. territory, hurting his ability to follow through on his new closure plan.
“That is the state of the law,” she said, pointing to the most recent defense policy law passed late last year, which cleared Congress on a bipartisan vote and which Mr. Obama himself signed into law.

Raymond Hughes is a corrections officer in the state of Pennsylvania, where he legally owns a firearm and even carries one for his government job. Earlier this February he was returning home with his wife from a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey when they were in a car accident. When the police arrived Hughes told the officers that he had a handgun under his seat, and the police secured the gun as Hughes went off to the hospital. Now the state of New Jersey wants to charge Hughes with a weapons crime, meaning that the corrections officer now faces a minimum of 3 ½ years in a New Jersey prison!
The flow of illegal immigrant children into the United States is expected to rise to record-breaking numbers in 2016 as deportations decrease, according to leading members of the Senate’s Judiciary Committee.
At least 20,455 unaccompanied minors have been caught during fiscal year 2016 along the U.S.-Mexico border as of last month, according to committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), who warned that if this trend continues, the number of illegal minors could eclipse a massive 2014 surge that strained the resources of the Department of Homeland Security and prompted investigations into the Obama administration’s handling of the issue.
While illegal border crossings surge, the number of children actually being deported from the United States is declining, senators said during a Tuesday hearing with senior Obama administration officials.
The hearing comes just a day after oversight officials disclosed that the Obama administration has lost track of scores of immigrant children, many of whom are being released from custody to individuals across the United States who have not gone through thorough background checks.

In an “open letter” obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, Admiral James “Ace” Lyons, U.S. Navy (Ret.), urges voting members of the NRA to give serious consideration to a recall effort based on board member Grover Norquist’s alleged past ties to Muslim Brotherhood operatives.
The recall effort follows Norquist’s April 2015 reelection to the NRA board amid heavy opposition from Glenn Beck and others. In mid-March Mediate.com reported that Beck threatened to quit the NRA if they did not end their relationship with Norquist. Beck made clear his concern was Norquist’s alleged ties ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

His successor, NYPD Commissioner William Bratton, recently accused the White House of the same thing.
“It appears to me that there’s a certain amount of vindictiveness on the part of Washington aimed at Sen. Chuck Schumer,” said Kelly on Sunday.
The Obama administration has lost track of scores of immigrant children who have been caught crossing into the United States illegally, according to a new government oversight report that found children are sometimes being placed into homes with other illegal immigrants and non-citizens.
Following a massive uptick in the number of immigrant children crossing into the United States, the Government Accountability Office discovered that children are being handed off to individuals who have not gone through vigorous background checks and may have criminal histories.
Regulations do not require that individuals taking custody of these kids “be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States,” according to the report, which has sparked investigations on Capitol Hill into the Obama administration’s handling of these immigrant children.
President Obama’s push to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility may be forcing the Department of Defense to release suspected terrorists newly captured by U.S. forces overseas, according to a Republican lawmaker and former Marine.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.) recently penned a letter to Defense Secretary Ash Carter expressing concern that Obama’s refusal to send new terrorist suspects to Guantanamo Bay is allowing them to return to the battlefield to fight U.S. forces and resume acts of terrorism.
“Given the clear position of Congress on the proposed closure of Guantanamo Bay and the prohibition on detainee transfers to domestic facilities, I am concerned that the Department of Defense is being forced to relinquish control of dangerous individuals captured by U.S. forces due to the president’s refusal to utilize Guantanamo Bay for new detention cases,” Hunter wrote to Carter on January 28.

(Via Breitbart ) President Obama ended the policy banning people with HIV from entering the U.S. in 2009, and now the administration is eliminating the entry ban for another three sexually transmitted diseases, according to the Center for Immigration Studies.
According to a CIS report slated for release on Tuesday, the Obama administration is removing chancroid, granuloma inguinale, and lymphogranuloma venereum from the list of diseases that would prevent a non-U.S. citizen from entering the U.S.
(Via Breitbart) The Tennessee State Senate overwhelmingly passed a resolution by a 27 to 5 margin requiring a state lawsuit against the federal government program that is dumping refugees into the Volunteer State. Senate Joint Resolution 467 now goes to the Tennessee House of Representatives, where sources tell Breitbart News it is expected to pass some time in the next three weeks
Passage of the resolution by the State Senate means that it is certain a lawsuit will be filed against the federal government’s Refugee Resettlement Program on Tenth Amendment grounds, something that no other state has yet done.
