(CNSNews) The top U.S. military commander in Europe told lawmakers Tuesday that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) is infiltrating the ranks of refugees entering Europe, and that terrorists, returning foreign fighters and criminals are now part of the “daily” flow.
Asked by Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) whether ISIS will continue to try to infiltrate refugee flows, U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove told the Senate Armed Services Committee, “I think that they are doing that today.”
(Breitbart)The FBI has released a new edition of its anti-terror video game, Don’t Be a Puppet, that conforms to demands from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to exclude Islamic jihad from a list of potential terror threats.
In the game, a player is asked to work through a series of numbered boxes, beginning with “What is Violent Extremism?” and finishing with “Who [sic] Do Violent Extremists Affect?” Completing the activities in each box — watching short videos, reading through short texts, taking a quick quiz — allows the player, string-by-string, to free the puppet.
Five years
ago Lisbon Council decided to revalue Lisbon's commercial and
residential property. A contract was awarded to William Van Tuinen Tax
Assessment Services. This revaluation was to be done over the four
year period ending in 2015 at a cost of $400,000 dollars.
In the
spring of 2015 we were told that revaluation letters would be sent in
May (2015) giving us time to dispute any potential problems with the
assessors findings before the 2015 tax season. These letters were never
sent.
We were then
told that the new valuation letters were only delayed a few weeks and
would be sent in June of the same year. These letters were never sent.
In
July/August of 2015 we were finally informed that the revaluation was
not even close to being finished. We had been told lies. ( I think the
L word is appropriate here considering what happened)
Late summer (2015) Mr. Van Tuinen and
Lisbon Council with the help of legal advise agreed to extend the
revaluation completion date for another year. They also included a daily
fine for each day that the contract wasn't finished past the new
completion date.
Early 2016
we were told we would get our new valuation letters by the end of
February (2016). Yesterday was the last day of February and no letters
were send and no new date is known for sending out letters.
Let me make
one thing clear. This delay isn't the fault of our tax department and
the original contract was signed by a previous Town Council and town
Manager. The problem is Mr. Van Tuinen and his staff.
Given the
history of this revaluation one would think every effort would be made
to keep deadlines but this hasn't been the case. I see a repeat of 2015
in the making ending in disaster.
Contract
completion fines are only good if there is money available to collect.
What guarantee do we have that we haven't wasted $400,000 dollars of
Lisbon's money?
I think this
problem should be at the top of our Council/Manager's agenda and we
should be kept apprised of the ACTUAL progress of this revaluation.
On March 1, 2016, Mr. Joe
Hill wrote an article on the current status of the revaluation project.It
appears that Mr. William Van Tuinen has once again violated his contact with
the town.
The original contract was for
a revaluation of the town would be completed spring of 2015.Next, we were told revaluation letters would
be coming out in May 2015 and then in July/August 2015 we were notified the
revaluation was not even close to being completed.The previous Town Council redid the contract with Mr. Van
Tuinen placing penalties for missing deadlines.Several of
these deadlines were status reports.Now, I am not privileged to whether or
not Mr. Van Tuinen submitted these reports but it appeared to be a shock to the
Town Council last night when I brought up the revaluation letters had not gone
out on February 29, 2016.
What is disturbing to me is the fact that the
taxpayers are NOT being updated periodically on this project especially when
deadline passed without any required action being taken.The taxpayers
have a right to know what is going on with this revaluation since it cost them
$400,000.00 of their money.At
the current rate, the revaluation will be useless by the time Mr. Van Tuinen
completes it.Also, the Town Manager was asked when the revaluation letters would
go out and she replied “shortly”.To me
“shortly” is not an answer to the question.
The Town Council needs to make this their
number one priority until it is done.The town should be receiving another revenue coming in
for violation of the current contract in penalties.Each
and every one of the residents of Lisbon should be contacting their Councilors
and force them to make this their number one priority.I believe the statue of this
revaluation should be briefed each and every meeting until it is
completed.The people have a right to know.

Ordinance & Fee Schedule Amendment (2nd Reading) – The Council
approved the 2nd reading by a vote of 7-0.
4.Park Regulations
Ordinance Amendment (Second Reading) – The Council approved the 2nd
reading by a vote of 7-0.
5.Repeal Ch. 2
Article IV Division 10 Trail Commission (Second Reading) – The Council approved
the 2nd reading by a vote of 7-0.
6.CDBG
Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program – The Council approved for the Town Manager
to sign the grant application by a vote of 7-0.
7.ACO Fines and
Fees – It appears these funds have been put in the wrong account so the Council
voted to correct this problem and put the funds under the ACO.The amount is $10,293.47 and was approved by
a vote of 7-0.
8.ACO Truck
Purchase – The Council approved by a vote of 7-0 to purchase a new vehicle for
the ACO.The town of Sabattus will
contribute 28% toward the vehicle.

If only it would happen! HR 3892, The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2015 was recently moved out of committee and sent to the House for consideration. The question is, will a Republican-led Congress show anymore spine in passing this legislation than they have in standing against Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah?
The bill, which was sponsored by Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart
(R-FL), was first introduced in November of 2015, but it was finally reported out of committee on February 24, 2016. The bill has at least four co-sponsors, including Rep. Louie Gohmert

The bill would "require the Secretary of State to submit a report to Congress on the designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization, and for other purposes."

One has to almost laugh at the fact that someone of the wicked caliber of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan would refer to anyone else as "wicked." Yet, this is exactly what the man did just recently in comments which he made concerning Hillary Rodham Clinton. He called her a "wicked woman" who is deceiving the Black community.
On Sunday, Farrakhan warned listeners not to fall for Hillary Clinton's "crap," and reiterated a theme that was pushed last week in South Carolina by a Black activist at a Clinton event in which Clinton was called on to address her claims that Black Americans are "super predators" and that he husband was responsible for mass incarceration of Black people under his three strike policy.
