GOPDD: Clinton Says Her Pledge to Eliminate Coal Jobs Was Mistake

(Freebeacon) Hillary Clinton walked back her pledge to eliminate coal jobs in a letter to Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W. Va.) Tuesday.
Manchin’s senior adviser said he was “troubled and concerned” by Clinton’s controversial remarks and contacted Clinton and her senior energy advisor asking for clarification, according to West Virginia MetroNews.

(Breitbart) The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS) has escalated its efforts to recruit child soldiers to make up for all the soldiers it has lost.
“Reports that we’re getting from the ground that there are more and more defectors, but also that increasingly Daesh [ISIS] is relying on child soldiers,” explained spokesman John Kirby. “Those are good indications that they are struggling with their ability to recruit and to retain manpower.”

The luncheon was filmed as part of an episode titled “The Reckoning” in the Showtime documentary series The Circus, which chronicles the 2016 race for the White House. Executive producers Mark Halperin and Mark McKinnon sat down with these establishment figures before Super Tuesday.

DO THE PEOPLE OF LISBON HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!!!!

The Town Manager, Diane Barnes and the Town Council have started the 2016-2017 Municipal budget season last night. The initial municipal budget was presented last night for the first time to the Town Council. The budget has, according to my calculator, an increase of $677,373.00 over last years’ budget. However, keep in mind; this should change many many times before the municipal budget gets approved. So do not panic just yet.

However, in this budget is a 2% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for ALL town employees. These town employees have received a 2% increase for as many many years as I can remember. Sometimes it is called wages/salaries and other times it is called COLA. It has been going on for so many years it can be called automatic. Last year, there was no increase in Social Security for COLA. This means that the residents on fixed income did not receive a Social Security COLA increase but this was never taken into account by the leadership of this community. The current working class is greedy and wants as much money as they can get so this 2% is automatic for town employees. I am not saying that the majority of town employees do not deserve the increase but everyone gets it. This includes individuals that have no credentials for their position and receiving inflated salaries to begin with. If everyone doesn’t get a COLA increase than no one should receive a COLA increase. When was the last time you received a COLA increase at your work?

Also included in this budget is filling a Police Patrol Officer position at approximately $62,000.00 if I understood the Town Manager correctly. I believe this cost is a little high since the Lieutenant is paid $63,514.88. This is the salary in the 2013-2014 Annual Report. Remember, he received a 2% increase last year so that is NOT what he is receiving today. This brings up another interesting report.

The town has reported that they offered a ridiculous retirement package to both Lieutenant Michele and Chief Brooks. I say ridiculous package because they are negotiating for the people of Lisbon to pay for three years health insurance instead of paying until they reach 65. Lieutenant Michele has a legitimate reason but Chief Brooks has none that I am aware of. But the issue is here is why the people of Lisbon should pay health insurance past the age of 65 when Medicare kicks in.

Now here is an excellent question; why are the people not being kept in the loop on what is going on with these negotiations each Town Council meeting? The two for one was supposedly going to offset the cost of the Patrol Officer but it looks like it was just a ploy to get an additional officer for the Police Department.

Also, why weren’t the people informed as to the current status of the revaluation and the latest date when the residents will be receiving their revaluation letters. I think it is vital that the people be kept informed by either the Town Council or the Town Manager, especially when it involved taxpayer’s dollars. I believe it is called transparency and the people have a right to know what is going on in their community.

It appears if you want to know what is going on in Lisbon you must call either the Town Manager or members of the Town Council. Waiting for them to do their job during council meetings does not appear to be working.

Turki al-Faisal, who served as Saudi Arabia’s intelligence chief from 1977-2001, and as ambassador to the United States from 2005-2006, pulled few punches in an open letter in Arab News Monday, accusing Obama among other things of breaking a pledge to Riyadh to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region.

A watchdog group asked a federal judge on Tuesday to order court testimony from Hillary Clinton’s aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills about Clinton’s use of a private email server.
Judicial Watch, which has been suing the State Department for public records from Clinton’s time as secretary of state, is also asking to depose State Department senior administrator Patrick Kennedy, technical aide Bryan Pagliano, and three other department officials.
U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan said last month that Judicial Watch could seek outside testimony and documents to help the court determine if Clinton’s use of a private email server was a deliberate effort to evade public records laws.

RECAP TOWN COUNCIL MEETING – MARCH 15TH

Last night’s Town Council meeting had a small agenda but was very educational. The following is a summary of what took place.

Council Orders, Resolutions & Ordinances –

1. Transfer Snowmobile Reimbursement to Recreation Reserve Account – The Council approved by a vote of 6-0 with Councilor Metivier excused the amount of $2,250.00 to the Recreation Reserve Account which has a current balance of $4,917.67.

2. Re-designate funds for Beaver Park Trailer – The Council approved by a vote of 6-0 to designate $533.01 from the Ball Field account for the purchase of the Beaver Park Trailer.

3. Election of 216 AVCOG Officers – The Council approved the listing of AVCOG Officers by a vote of 6-0.

Other Business –

1. The Town Manager reported a very strong tax collection for the second half of the year. Also, she filed papers on 12 delinquent accounts with the court for further action.

2. Department Head Oral Report – Mark Stevens from the Recreation and Parks Department presented an update on what is going on in the Recreation and Parks Department.

3. Finance Director Report- School Funding Overview. Ed Karass provided an overview of how to read and understand the State of Maine ED 279 system. This is the state system that determines how much the state will reimburse the town for education.

4. The Town Manager presented her 2016-2017 Municipal Budget which has an increase of over $600,000. Remember this is the basic presentation and will change many times over as the Town Council work through it with the Town Manager.

Appointments –

1. Lisa Ward was appointed to the Appeals Board with an expiration date of 2018.

2. Fern Larochelle was appoint to the Appeals Board with an expiration date of 2017.

3. Chris Rugullies was appointed to the Appeals Board with an expiration date of 2016.

GOPDD: Iran Claims Seizure of over 13,000 Pages of Intel from Abducted U.S. Sailors

(Breitbart) Officials in Iran allege they seized over 13,000 pages of information from devices used by the United States sailors detained in January.
Gen. Ali Razmjou, naval commander in the Revolutionary Guard, said his soldiers retrieved the materials from laptops and GPS devices. Previously, the regime said they had only taken “two digital SIM cards in satellite phones.”

GOPDD: 75% of GOP Voters Back Donald Trump Nomination, if He Gets Most Delegates

How US Taxpayers Funded the Murder of an Iraq Vet in Israel

Taylor Force had been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, he had served at Fort Hood in the year of the infamous Islamic terrorist attack on the base, but a Jihadist finally caught up to the veteran, whose father and grandfather had also served their country, in civilian life during a visit to Israel.

Bashar Masalha, the Islamic terrorist who murdered Force, was shot dead by Israeli police around the time that Biden was hanging out a mile away at the Peres Center for Peace. But Biden and his boss signed the checks to Iran and the Palestinian Authority that motivated and rewarded Force’s killer.

Masalha came from Qalqilya which is under the civil control of the Palestinian Authority. Its mayor, Othman Dawood, is a member of Fatah, the core political organization behind the PLO and the Palestinian Authority. Fatah celebrated the murder of Taylor Force and other victims of the attack, praising Masalha as a “heroic martyr”. It named him and two other terrorist attackers as “the pride of all of the young Palestinians” and urged future terrorists to go on killing in their name. Palestinian Authority television called the terrorist who murdered an American, a Shaheed, a martyr for Islam. And the Palestinian Authority’s support for the murder of Taylor Force doesn’t just end there.

The Palestinian Authority pays terrorists based on the amount of harm they caused and the resulting jail sentence. Had Masalha survived his attack on Taylor Force and the other victims, he would have likely been paid $2,000 a month for his act of terror. That’s pretty good money in a place where $2,000 is more like an annual income. It’s so good that that there’s no shortage of terrorists eager to kill for cash.

And the Palestinian Authority has no shortage of money to pay Muslim terrorists to kill Americans and Israelis because the terror organization which claims to be a state is subsidized by the United States with billions of dollars. In 2014, the PA spent $144 million on payments to convicted terrorists. Its terror budget benefited from Obama boosting 2014 foreign aid to the PA to $440 million. For “peace”.

Masalha is dead and will not receive the blood money he was hoping for from the Palestinian Authority, but he died knowing that his family will still be paid for his crime. In just one year, the PA paid out $78 million to the families of terrorists. Masalha’s family will receive money each month for the murder of Taylor Force. That money will come from American taxpayers. It will come from you.

Americans are paying money to Islamic terrorists who kill them. They are paying money to their families so that the terrorists know that even if they die, their families will be taken care of by their victims.

After a vague condemnation, Biden headed to a meeting with the head of the Palestinian Authority, PLO and Fatah, Mahmoud Abbas, whose organization encouraged and financed the murder of Taylor Force. While the body of Abbas’ latest American victim was flown back to his family, Biden grinned at the Osama of the West Bank, shook the bloody hand of the head of a terrorist organization that is among the world’s top terrorist killers of Americans and promised him more cash that will be used to help kill more Americans.

After the murder of Taylor Force, Biden could have skipped the meeting. When an Israeli planning committee approved a housing plan the last time he was in the country, Biden kept Netanyahu waiting for 90 minutes to express his displease. He didn't keep the PLO terror boss waiting for even a second.

Why do Jewish houses in Jerusalem offend Biden more than the murder of an American veteran?

But sadly the taxpayer financing of Islamic terrorism in Israel doesn’t end with the Palestinian Authority.

Obama signed off on Iran’s nuclear program. As part of that deal, Iran got $100 billion in sanctions relief. And he generously threw in a check from the American people to the Shiite terror state for $1.7 billion.

After 9/11, Biden told staffers, “Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran.” Obama added plenty of interest to that check and Iran quickly began putting that money to good use in its weapons programs and its terror financing.

As part of its celebration, Iran announced that it would pay $7,000 to the families of terrorists in Israel. On top of the American taxpayer money that the family of Taylor Force’s killer will receive from the Palestinian Authority, they will also receive blood money from Iran.

Funding terrorism is popular in the Muslim world. The Saudis were funneling $5,300 to the families of dead terrorists in Israel. And they are not alone. These days some of that money has been diverted to Islamic holy wars in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and any number of other places where Allahu Akbar is shouted as heads roll and bombs go off, but the checks are still being cut to Muslim terrorists in Israel.

And too much of the money being used to murder Americans is coming out of the pockets of Americans.

Taylor Force is not alone. He is the second American to be murdered by Muslim terrorists in Israel this year. Americans murdered by Islamic terrorists in Israel last year included Richard Lakin, a 76-year-old former elementary school principal from Connecticut, Rabbi Eitan Henkin, a father of four who was driving his family home, and Ezra Schwartz, a Massachusetts teenager on a mission of mercy.

Many other Americans have been stabbed, shot at, wounded, stoned and terrorized. And the money funding their attackers came out of their own pockets.

Members of Congress from both parties have tried to cut off aid to the terrorists of the Palestinian Authority. But Obama, like the presidents before him, has refused to listen or to follow the law and continues to fund terrorist attacks in Israel in much the same way that Saddam Hussein used to.

Unfortunately he is not alone. The United States has funded Fatah and PLO terrorism under three presidents. This is an ongoing crime that must stop. It kills Israelis and it kills Americans.

As long as the United States funds the Palestinian Authority, it’s funding Islamic terrorism.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade appears on the State Department’s own list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The Brigade is an arm of Fatah, whose terrorist boss, Mahmoud Abbas, was one of the first foreign leaders Obama phoned on his first day in office.

Abbas was a frequent guest at the White House. Despite skipping Israel’s parliament, Obama paid a visit to the terrorist leader’s Muqata fortress, ignoring Abbas’ own statement, “As far as I am concerned, there is no difference between our policies and those of Hamas. So why are they labeled as terrorists?"

That’s a very good question. Maybe Abbas can ask it of Biden as the Vice President of the United States pays a call on the PLO and Fatah terror boss in the old British prison that serves as his fortress despite the murder of Taylor Force and other Americans funded by Abbas’ terrorist organization.

Obama has poured billions into the Palestinian Authority. These vast sums of money have not led to peace. They have not convinced Abbas to negotiate in good faith with Israel. Instead those billions have helped finance Islamic terrorism. It’s time for the United States to stop funding terrorists.

It’s clear that this administration will not do the right thing. But if its successor does not stop paying terrorists to kill, then Taylor Force will not be the last American victim of taxpayer subsidized terrorism. And their blood will be on his or her hands.

GOPDD: DHS Warns of Possible Washington D.C. Terror Attack – Hotels , Convention Centers on Edge

(Bizpacreview) On the basis of a recent video released by Islamic State terrorists warning of a Paris-style attack in the United States, the Department of Homeland Security is warning of the possibility of the group targeting Washington, D.C.-area hotels and convention centers.
There was nothing in the DHS bulletin that referred to “specific intelligence or concerns of an imminent attack,” the Investigative Project on Terrorism reported; although, the video was enough to raise at least a general alarm.

GOPDD: Democrat Town Hall: Hillary Clinton Says More Gun Control the Answer to Gang-Related Gun Violence

(Breitbart) During the March 13 CNN Democrat Town Hall in Ohio, Hillary Clinton responded to a question about gang-related gun violence by pushing stricter gun control for law-abiding citizens.
She was responding to comments from questioner Vashitta Johnson, who talked about a seven-year-old boy being killed and his five-year-old and four-year old siblings being wounded in a gang-related attack. The questioner was clear: “This incident was actually a gang-related retaliation shooting.” She also mentioned a shooting in which another five-year-old was shot while lying in his bed, then asked, “What programs would you implement in poverty-stricken communities in this country in an effort to decrease this type of violence?”

LaVoy Finicum's widow, Jeanette Finicum, announced this week that she would be pursuing a wrongful death lawsuit against officials in Oregon. Her husband was murdered on January 26, 2016 in an ambush orchestrated by the Oregon State Police and the FBI. The Oregon State Police are attributed with the fatal shots.
"My family and I reject the biased, whitewash findings and conclusion reported yesterday," Mrs. Finicum told media at a press conference at the Washington County Building in St. George on Wednesday

GOPDD: Breitbart’s Michelle Fields, Ben Shapiro Resign Over LIES Over Trump Incident

NBC Her colleague Ben Shapiro also resigned from Breitbart, saying the site should be “ashamed” of “their treatment” of Fields, whose allegations of assault came amid escalating violence in and around Trump campaign events.
Fields accused Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski of grabbing her arm so hard she bruised as she attempted to question the candidate at an event. She wrote an account of the incident, as did a Washington Post reporter who said he witnessed it. Politico also published an audio transcript that purportedly captures the interaction and moments immediately afterward.
