(Breitbart) A coalition of far-left groups plotting a mass civil disobedience movement to begin next month believes Breitbart News readers may be interested in joining their revolution.
This reporter penned a widely-read article last week documenting the operation, calling itself Democracy Spring, which is threatening “drama in Washington” with the “largest civil disobedience action of the century.” The radicals believe this will result in the arrest of thousands of their own activists.
(New York Post) The planning board for the upstate town of New Paltz has voted against saying the Pledge of Allegiance at its meetings after one of its members called it a “total waste of time.”
The showdown over the Pledge came at Monday’s session, when board member Amy Cohen introduced a motion to say the patriotic oath at future bi-monthly meetings as a show of respect.
CNN-In a sign of just how much the Republican presidential primary has turned the party on its head, Sen. Lindsey Graham will headline a fundraiser on Monday in support of Ted Cruz.
Graham told CNN that while the Texas senator is not his preferred candidate, he’s “the best alternative to Donald Trump,” and he said he will “help Ted in every way I can.”
What would you say to Lindsey Graham? Comment Below
(Freebeacon) At a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D., Conn.) expressed his concern about Iran’s ballistic missile program and asked Secretary of Defense Ash Carter if increased sanctions should be brought against Iran.
“Finally, I have long been concerned, as many of my colleagues have been, about the Iran ballistic missile program, its continuing testing. I led a letter to President Obama with a number of my colleagues calling for immediate enforcement of sanctions against Iran and the Department of Treasury, following the letter, did indeed enforce sanctions against eleven entities and individuals supporting Iran’s missile program, Blumenthal said.
As we are digging further into the murder of LaVoy Finicum and the ambush of the protestors from the Oregon refuge and their subsequent arrest, we are finding very disturbing information. On Thursday's Northwest Liberty News radio show, a bombshell from documents Jim White and I obtained indicates that the entire operation of January 26, 2016 goes up not only to Oregon Governor Kate Brown's office, but even to the White House. Because of the language that was used in the documents by the officers, we speculated along with Red Smith of ShastaLantern.com and Paul Preston of Agenda21radio.com that the White House orchestrated the entire thing and that when it comes to calling the shots, we don't look to Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah, but rather to Obama's mama, Valerie Jarrett.
(CNSNews) On Levin TV Wednesday, nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin explained that there are not conservative or rightwing justices on the Supreme Court, but instead, a justice is either a constitutional originalists or, like Obama’s recent nominee Merrick Garland, “not an originalist.”
“It’s not a matter of the outcome,” stated Mark Levin. “It’s how you approach the interpretation of the Constitution, how you decide to look at your role as a justice. The problem for Merrick Garland is, he’s not an originalist.”
(Breitbart) A new trove of documents unearthed by Judicial Watch with a Freedom of Information Act request sheds more light on the Clinton email scandal, revealing that Hillary Clinton demanded changes to the National Security Agency’s protocols so she could use her smartphone and secret email server.
Judicial Watch describes a chain of emails that show Clinton demanding the use of a secure smartphone just like the one given to President Barack Obama:
At the last Council Meeting our Town
Manager proposed the first draft of the 2017 budget. Over the course of
the next few months this proposed budget will undergo many revisions in
an attempt to tailor it to Lisbon's needs and available resources.
I was surprised to see the proposed
budget included an across the board 2% COLA (cost of living allowance)
for all municipal employees. According to 2015 figures last years inflation rate was about one tenth of one percent. (2015 --0.012%) In fact in six of the last 12 months there was deflation.
A few months ago Social Security
recipients were informed they wouldn't receive a COLA raise this year
because there wasn't a significant increase in inflation.
Fuel costs are the lowest we have seen in years.
Giving a
2% cola increase isn't just a 2% raise in employee salaries it is also
an increase in all the costs associated with those salaries.(FICA, retirement, unemployment insurance, workers comp. etc)
Is it morally right to demand
retirees, that didn't get a cola last year, pay for a 2% cola for all
Lisbon employees? Remember some of our employees, when including
benefits, make a six figure income. Call your Councilors and let them know what you think. Respectfully Joe Hill
(Breitbart) The latest from Counter Jihad shows an alliance between radical leftist groups to cause riots and violence.
The video showcases speaker Khalilah Sabra from the Muslim American Society at a rally, where she encourages her fellow Muslims to start a revolution in America.
“Basically you are the new black people of America,” she said. “That we are the community that staged a revolution across the world. If we can do that, why can’t we have that revolution in America?”
Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is facing an “uprising” in the national security establishment prompted by long-standing anger about her cavalier handling of classified materials and government secrets.
As Clinton’s case progresses, it appears the probe is being directed by intelligence and national security law enforcement authorities rather than civilian agencies subject to political influence, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation
Okay. It’s totally out of control here. This is exactly how this kind of stuff happens in the Drive-Bys. By the way, this is no defense of Trump. This is standing up for the whole concept that words mean things. All Trump did was suggest that there would be riots. He didn’t call for them. In fact, he said he hoped there wouldn’t be.
But all he had to do was predict that there might be and here comes everybody claiming that he’s calling for them, that he’s warning that there will be, like he’s trying to scare people into signing up with him or else. In the meantime, all these people are craving riots because of the media attention they would draw. That’s the hypocrisy.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, believes Democrats like Rep. Elijah Cummings are threatening the integrity of their investigation by leaking key documents and witness transcripts. So, he's making a few changes.
“As recently as this afternoon, I offered Mr. Cummings total, unfettered access to, and control of, transcripts if he simply agreed he would not selectively leak them," Gowdy said in a statement Wednesday. "He would not give me that assurance. Democrats have threatened to leak more transcripts and therefore I have no choice but to protect past witnesses, future witnesses, confidential material and the integrity of the investigation by allowing the Democrats equitable access but not control. Once they stated their intention to misuse transcripts, I could not in good faith allow them to do so. Mr. Cummings likes to frequently lecture people how 'we're better than this,' but his actions and the actions of his staff with regards to this investigation unfortunately prove otherwise. That is why I have taken these reasonable steps in accordance with House rules to provide equitable access to witness transcripts while protecting the integrity of this investigation.”
This election has become an embarrassing demonstration of immaturity and pettiness. I am absolutely in shock (and ashamed) to see just how ignorant the citizens of the country that I call home are acting during this crucial time.
Protests, riots, underhanded mud-slinging, deliberate sabotage… shameful. And it’s not changing.
“Dear white people…niggas such as myself are fully hell bent on inciting riots everywhere we go”
UPDATE: Poe deleted his tweet and then claimed that he never made the comments. The tweet is archived here and a screenshot of it appears below.
He’s now whining about “slander”. Talk crap, then play the victim when you get challenged on your crap. Same process EVERY time with social justice warriors.
Conservative Infidel As a former over-the-road truck driver, I understand that there are times when you might be less than thrilled with a particular load. You might not like where you have to pick it up, where it is going, the road to be traveled, or possibly for a Muslim, the product you are transporting.
If the driver chooses to voice those concerns, the answer in most cases would be the same. In some form or other, the he would be told to deal with it, reminded of the delivery time and the conversation would be over.
(Daily Caller) A new video obtained by The Oregonian shows Oregon militiaman LaVoy Finicum’s final moments before being gunned down by federal agents.
Near the beginning of the footage, Finicum can be heard refusing to exit his vehicle.
“You can go ahead and shoot me!” he shouted at the officers. “Put the laser right there, put the bullet through the head!”
U.S. President Barack Obama, left, talks to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, during a meeting with members of Congress on foreign policy in Cabinet Room of the White House in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Thursday, July 31, 2014. (The Hill) President Obama on Thursday rebuked Senate Republicans for insisting they won’t consider his Supreme Court nominee.
“One of the most puzzling arguments that I’ve heard from [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell and some other Republicans is this notion that the American people should decide,” Obama said in an interview with NPR.
“Well, in fact the American people did decide — back in 2012 when they elected me president of the United States with sufficient electoral votes.”
Conservative Tribune Billionaire businessman Donald Trump’s rally in Chicago that was canceled due to protesters has caused a large amount of political fallout, with Trump’s political opponents trying to use it to their advantage.
However, the canceled rally seems to have increased his support among Chicago police officers, because of how Trump handled the situation.

(Daily Caller) Several dozen self-described movement conservatives met in Washington, D.C. on Thursday to discuss ideas and options on how to stop Donald Trump from clinching the Republican nomination for president.
“There is considerable reason to believe that this nomination fight is far from over and that anybody other than Trump can win a clear majority of delegates,” Quin Hillyer, a longtime conservative columnist and activist who is serving as a spokesman for the group, told The Daily Caller after the meeting.
(R-UT). Sure, he’s among the MOST conservative representatives in Congress, but that’s not the only reason we’re such big fans. He has earned our support because he is so willing to stand up and speak the truth on so many different political subjects. Whether standing with Ted Cruz
on reforming our awful tax system – Senator Lee always seems to be standing on the right side of the political debate (even when he’s not the one leading the charge). For that, we thank him.
From the Daily Caller News Foundation:
After suffering humiliating defeats to the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and the U.S.-led Operation Inherent Resolve coalition, 149 Islamic State fighters were recently captured attempting to hide among women and children fleeing the Euphrates River valley.
As part of Operation Desert Lynx, Iraq’s mission to recapture territory near the Euphrates River valley from ISIS, U.S. and coalition forces dropped thousands of leaflets on cities and towns in order to demoralize ISIS fighters and give civilians an opportunity to evacuate the area before fighting occurs. Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman U.S. Army Col. Steve Warren told reporters that as many as 35,000 civilians have been able to flee the area in response.
Two wealthy Texas Muslims have been found guilty of engaging in forced labor or two "servants," otherwise known as slaves. However, the judge in the case was told that to punish them would amount to nothing more that "islamophobia," which has been shown to be a ridiculous argument. The judge, however, decided they needed a lesson in law and banned them from the united States.
A senior State Department official misled Congress on a Russian arms treaty violation and should not be named NATO’s deputy secretary general, according to a group of Republican House members.
Rose Gottemoeller, undersecretary of state for arms control and international security, is the expected replacement for outgoing NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow.
The position is considered a key post for alliance policy and 13 House Republicans on Tuesday are seeking to block the appointment over what they say were several instances of misleading congressional testimony by Gottemoeller on Russian arms control violations.
“We strongly urge you to rescind the nomination, due to Ms. Gottemoeller’s history of providing conflicting information to Congress and our NATO allies,” the members stated in a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry dated March 15.
