On Fox News’ The Five Tuesday, co-host Greg Gutfeld tied his own shoes together and declared himself in possession of a Gordian knot — not literally, of course, but with his “rebuttal” of those liberals who have declared they will move to Canada if Donald Trump is elected president in November.
In a move barely even worthy of the high school debater he essentially is, Gutfeld attempted to “flip the script” on those who would rather not have an openly racist president by claiming that they, in fact, are “the real bigot[s].”

PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. — A 25-year-old Libyan man, who Platte County prosecutor alleged is part a terrorist organization, pleaded guilty to two felonies Thursday.
Ali Swei pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking and attempted stealing by coercion.
Prosecutors say he threatened to kill the family that was sponsoring him and threatened their relatives in Libya. Prosecutors add that Swei threatened to harm the Libyan immigrant family he was staying with if they did not pay him $30,000.

I have been arguing for more than a year (ever since reader CW proposed it) that we should be setting up a “repatriation fund” to fly refugees and others home who get into the US, but discover that the streets are not paved with gold (and that they have to work in meatpacking plants!) and now want to go home. Throw in a little extra sweetener and it will still be cheaper than paying federal contractors to get them hooked on welfare (or cause financial and social chaos in schools systems, a la Amarillo).

Last week marked the end of the road for hundreds of Abbott Labs employees who were laid off, replaced by foreign workers.
To mark the somber occasion, Michelle Malkin joined organizer Sara Blackwell in a small gathering of former Abbott employees and others effected by HB1 assault on American workers.

Between offshoring of jobs and importing of foreign labor through the HB1 visa program, thousands upon thousands of hard working Americans are being “thrown under the bus” for cheap labor. SJ: County approves PSAP, dispatch agreements with Sabattus, Wales

AUBURN — The Androscoggin County Commission on Wednesday approved a public safety answering point and emergency dispatch services contract with the towns of Sabattus and Wales.

Once the documents are signed by the towns, the PSAP contracts will be in effect beginning July 1, 2016, and will continue through June 30, 2019.

Sabattus and Wales are the second and third towns to have recently switched their PSAP and dispatch services to the county after Greene successfully made the switch.

They said, ‘Look, yeah, there needs to be some changes made, but she’s not responsible.’ No secretary of state has ever been responsible for security stuff. Are we witnessing the beginning of the end for the United States of America? All great nations eventually fall, and the United States is not going to be any exception. Many of those that write about the decline of our once great country tend to focus on external threats, and there are certainly many that could be talked about. But perhaps even more ominous is the internal societal meltdown that we see happening all around us. According to Real Clear Politics, recent surveys show that 67 percent of Americans believe that the country is on the wrong track, and only 26 percent of Americans believe that it is headed in the right direction. So even though we are tremendously divided as to what the solutions are, the vast majority of us can see that something is deeply, deeply wrong with America.
Personally, I spend a lot of time writing about our economic problems. We have piled up the largest mountain of debt in the history of the planet, last year the middle class became a minority for the first time in our history, and 47 percent of all Americans couldn’t even pay an unexpected $400 emergency room bill without borrowing the money or selling something. But I don’t want to focus on economics in this article.
