Hillary Clinton‘s email scandal continues.
On Friday, the New York Times reported that Clinton told FBI officials former Secretary of State Colin Powell had advised her to use a personal email account while she held the Secretary of State office herself.
“Her people have been trying to pin it on me,” Powell, 79, told PEOPLE Saturday night at the Apollo in the Hamptons 2016 Night of Legends fête in East Hampton, New York.

Khizr Khan got a lot of attention for bringing up his son, Humayun Khan, who died in the Iraq War, in his attack on Trump.

Taya told Obama to his face that taking away guns won’t stop murders.
“(What) we have to recognize is we cannot outlaw murder, because the people who are murdering are breaking the law, but they also don’t have the moral code that we have,” she said.

MSN Gov. Terry McAuliffe will announce Monday that he has restored voting rights to 13,000 felons, defying the Republicans and state Supreme Court justices who last month stopped his more sweeping clemency effort.

McAuliffe’s planned action, confirmed by two people with knowledge of it, comes about a month after the Supreme Court of Virginia invalidated an executive order the Democrat issued in April. With that order, the governor restored voting rights to more than 200,000 felons who had completed their sentences.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid on Friday blamed his Republican congressional colleagues for the spread of Zika to Florida’s Miami Beach, even though it was Senate Democrats who blocked the additional $1.1 billion in funding to fight Zika just before Congress left for an extended summer recess.
“The spread of Zika is distressing, but it is not surprising. Public health officials warned this would happen and that’s why Democrats demanded action months ago,” said Reid in a statement released on Friday. “This public health crisis will only get worse if Republicans continue their refusal to work with Democrats on a bipartisan response.

It’s bittersweet to see those who raised their fists with #BlackLivesMatter figure out that lives only matter to BLM when it suits their purposes. And it is really sad when an every day citizen broadcasts over the internet the stark reality that a flooded American city is pretty much on its own right now.

One Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resident shot a selfie video that just about says it all on this topic. The man’s name appears to be Jerry Washington. His heartbreak and the anger resulting from it is obvious for anyone who has eyes to see.

GOPDD: IRS defends paying refunds to illegals who never filed taxes!

The IRS is defending its decision to let illegal immigrants claim up to three years’ refunds on income even if they never paid income taxes, telling Congress in a new letter last week that agency lawyers have concluded getting a Social Security number triggers the ability to go back and ask for previous refunds.
President Obama’s new deportation amnesty could grant Social Security numbers to as many as 4 million illegal immigrants, making many of them eligible for tax refunds under the Earned Income Tax Credit even for years when they cheated on their taxes, by working off the books and not filing tax returns.
