President-elect Donald Trump has already mentioned that he intends to try to keep certain provisions in Obamacare alive, while arguing that it needs to be repealed and replaced.
One of the provisions that needs to be scrapped is the individual mandate – the idea that the government can force people to purchase health insurance. Requiring that by law only drives up the costs, and the quality goes down.
A post-election discussion featuring aides to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton turned into a shouting match at Harvard University Thursday, with Clinton aides blaming white supremacy for Trump’s victory while Trump’s aides ridiculed them back as a group of sore losers.
For every election since 1972, Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government has held a campaign debriefing featuring both Republican and Democratic campaign operatives, along with many journalists. Typically, the discussions are civil, but this time around the wounds from a grueling, sharply negative campaign were clearly still open and the mood raw. During a round-table discussion between top members of the Clinton and Trump campaigns, moderators struggled to keep participants on-point as they constantly attacked and bickered with one another.
Wisconsin Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI) went on with Tucker Carlson tonight to discuss the recount in Wisconsin.
Duffy said Democrats and far left Green Party supporters are stalling the recount in Dane County Wisconsin, where Madison is located. The county is holding a hand recount. The recount will not be completed by the deadline on December 20th. Therefore, according to Rep. Duffy, the state will quite possibly be forced to forfeit their electoral votes.
Recently we finished the work on Davis Street sidewalk. This project has been discussed in
Council Meetings for quite some time. The purpose of this sidewalk was
to give a pedestrian friendly approach to the new walking Trail
extension.
Recently I drove down Davis Street and the above picture illustrates what I saw..
The town euphemistically calls the added pavement a sidewalk, I call it street widening or at best a small breakdown lane.
Dictionary.com describes a "Sidewalk" as follows. "Ahard-surfacedpathfor pedestriansalongside andalittlehigherthana road." There are several reasons
for the elevated nature of a sidewalk but the most important one is
safety. Drivers are aware that if they hit the raised sidewalk they
risk damaging their vehicles. This risk keeps vehicles off the sidewalk
and makes it much safer for pedestrians. Placing a rumble strip to
delineate the sidewalk will not make pedestrians any safer. It will just
signal drivers that they are within a couple feet of the gravel. In my humble opinion adding a
couple feet in width to a street and calling it a sidewalk is counter
productive. It doesn't make pedestrians safer and may even encourage
driver to increase their speed thus making it less safe for those
walking on the side of the road. In conclusion I think this is a $30,000 dollar boondoggle. Sincerely Joe Hill
VA administrators made the announcement Tuesday afternoon at a press conference.Nearly 600 veterans who were being treated at a VA facility in Wisconsin may have been infected with several types of diseases due to violations of infection control protocol.
Some of those diseases include HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. The facility, in Tomah, Wisconsin, is in the process of notifying 592 veterans that they may have become infected,.
During the campaign, Trump insisted that if he was elected, the American public would start saying “Merry Christmas” once again.

Hillary’s desperate attempt at remaining relevant came as a bit of surprise given her strong comments refuting recounts, Donald Trump having won “clearly and fairly”, and her acceptance of defeat on November 9th, 2016.
Speaking to a crowd of mostly Christian, Republican activists at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, he rattled through the top issues of the day, looking more comfortable delivering prepared remarks.
“President Obama,” he said, “has allowed Syrian refugees to pour into our country at unbelievable rates. And Hillary Clinton wants to allow 550 percent more. But it’s almost impossible to get a Christian in from Syria.”
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested the recount last week. She alleged- without evidence- that the state’s voting equipment may have been hacked. Bill Palmer: At the end of election night the New York Times reported that Donald Trump had won the state of Wisconsin with a total of 1,409,467 votes, giving him a winning margin of 27,257 votes over Hillary Clinton’s total of 1,382,210. These numbers were based on what the individual counties and precincts were reporting that night. But now seventeen days later, based on various Wisconsin precincts revising their own totals, Dave Wasserman of the respected Cook Political Report has updated the totals. Donald Trump now has 1,404,536 total votes in Wisconsin, while Hillary Clinton now has 1,382,011 total votes.

Angie Hildebrandt, mother of 2 U.S servicemen, was recently told by the Southdale Gardens Condominium Association that she needed to take down her American flag flying outside of her home. The association insists that there are rules prohibiting external decorations.

Stein would have to present a case showing voter fraud took place.
Trump won Pennsylvania by 70 thousand votes.
Stein would have to prove that fraud was “probable.”
That does not seem likely. Then again, we are talking about the Clintons here.
