As part of his quest to overhaul the American justice system, liberal billionaire George Soros is targeting local prosecutor races like the one in Harris County, a large jurisdiction that includes the city of Houston.
Morris Overstreet, a former judge who was the first African-American elected to statewide office in Texas since Reconstruction, was one of the beneficiaries. Overstreet received $100,000 from Soros in the race for Harris County district attorney.
But in a rare lost bet for Soros, Overstreet was defeated easily in the Democratic primary in March by Kim Ogg, a white woman from a prominent political family who has practiced law in Harris County, where she was born, for nearly 30 years.

Bodycam video from one of the officers captured the harrowing ordeal.
Officer Jeffery Martin, 22, of the Lavonia, Georgia police force, and his captain, Michael Schulman, 50, had pulled over a vehicle and got word back from dispatch that the car was stolen.
Lavonia, Georgia police captain Michael Schulman and Officer Jeffery Martin were shot last Monday by Khari Anthony Dashaun Gordon

The suspect driving the car was Khari Anthony Dashaun Gordon. Gordon had been arrested over 20 times prior to the shooting, and he was out on bond for attempted murder. Martin & Schulman were unaware of these facts.
After pulling Gordon over, officer Martin, a rookie who had only been on the force for a year, was questioning him.

“This is all going to happen again and again and again as long as we keep playing defense,” Woolsey said on “Fox and Friends” following an attack in Berlin on Monday, where a truck plowed into a Christmas market.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Tuesday to “assume at the current time that it was a terrorist attack,” according to The New York Times.

As there is evidence of CIA complicity in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (film shows Secret Service agents ordered away from JFK’s limo immediately prior to his assassination), Trump, who is clearly seen as a threat by the military/security complex, is not being paranoid. MSNBC implies that Trump’s private security is to suppress protesters, as if government security forces have shown any compunction about suppressing protesters.

Ed Klein: For the past 100 years every president who is outgoing has packed up his stuff gone home and not criticized his successor. This is not what the Obamas are planning to do. They rented an eight-bedroom mansion in the section of Washington near Joe Lockhart, Bill Clinton’s last press secretary. In that house there’s enough room for Valerie Jarrett and Michelle and the kids. A place for ten cars to park. They are setting up what they are calling a shadow government.

Los Angeles County officials Janice Hahn and Hilda Solis have decided to use $1 million in taxpayer funds to help illegal immigrants fight deportation.

According to LA based radio-station KPCC’s interview with Janice Hahn’s mouthpiece Liz Odendahl said “The idea is to set up the legal fund with $1 million in the first year, then obtain matching funds from public or private donors.” She further explains the move was designed to proactively provide illegal immigrants with “supports” before President-Elect Trump takes office to short-circuit his pledge to deport illegal immigrants across the country.
