The outline of the pan is clearly visible through her leggings, with its handle sticking out the waistband.Sierra M. Coleman, 28, of the 6000 block of Washington Boulevard, is accused of biting one of the Ikea guards who stopped her. Charges of misdemeanor theft and assault allege that about 6:50 p.m. Dec. 30, Coleman hid “bed sheets in her bag and then proceeded beyond all points of sale without paying for the item.”The charges do not detail Coleman’s method of allegedly concealing the pan.The video shows the Ikea workers detaining Coleman in the parking lot before the pan finally falls from her pants to the pavement. While a male worker holds Coleman’s arms behind her back, a female employee tells Coleman several times to let go of her shirt.Several times during the video, Coleman claims she is pregnant. The guards led her back to the store before police arrived.

The Pentagon sent four Yemeni detainees from the Guantanamo Bay military prison to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, launching President Barack Obama’s final flurry of prisoner transfers despite Donald Trump’s demand for a freeze.
The four are from Yemen and had been held at Guantanamo for more than 14 years. They were suspected of being low-level militants with ties to al-Qaida but were never charged.

The Democratic National Committee “rebuffed” a request from the FBI to examine its computer services after it was allegedly hacked by Russia during the 2016 election, a senior law enforcement official told CNN Thursday.
“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” the official stated. “This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information.

After a shooter opened fire at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday, killing at least five people, Florida Governor Rick Scott says he reached out to President-elect Donald Trump but not President Obama.
Governor Scott: I have reached out to President-elect Trump. I have spoken to him and Vice President-elect Pence multiple times to keep them informed. And they told me any resources they need from the federal government they would do everything in their power to make that happen.
Donald Trump has officially taken the first step in his promise to “build the wall.” According to Reuters, the Trump transition team presented a “wide-ranging request for documents and analysis” to the Department of Homeland Security in early December “to assess all assets available for border wall and barrier construction.”
Reuters learned about the requests via an internal agency memo regarding a Dec. 5 meeting between Trump’s transition team and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials. In the meeting, Trump’s team asked for information about the department’s capacity to expand immigrant detention and its aerial surveillance program that President Obama significantly “downsized.” The team also asked for details about Obama’s executive orders on immigration and “whether federal workers have altered biographic information kept by the department about immigrants out of concern for their civil liberties.”
