Another Observation of the Behavior of One Man at the School Committee Meeting

After watching the airing of the School Committee meeting last night I was completely outraged. Why hasn't someone put a stop to Walter Morse and his "actions". Yes, he believes what he is doing is for the good of our town, but that is his opinion. When you set out to raise money for a cause and people give money to that cause, then the money raised MUST BE used for that cause. If it is not, you are stealing people's money!!! That is exactly what Walter Morse is doing when he uses funds that were raised for a new track to purchase items that HE feels are needed. Why doesn't Walter join one of our many VOLUNTEER groups in town. I have to say I have volunteered countless hours for many organizations in this town and have never seen Walter there!!! If he wants to tally up who does what in this town, he is way behind!!!

If he wants the credit for these projects he is doing, he must also be ready to take on the maintenance of them. This past spring he brought in gravel to fill in by the gate near the hockey rink at the High School. If anyone has been by there lately, it's a hazard and someone is going to get hurt. The sand is washing away and has left soft spots and craters in the gateway. Who is going to be liable when someone twists an ankle? The town? The School? Not Walter Morse!

Good intentions or not, people can not just go around town doing whatever they want. That is the reason this town is in the mess we're in. Everyone wants to be a one man show. How about we start working together and this town will be a much better place.
