Fall, isn't it refreshing to smell it in the air on these cool mornings. To see the beautiful colors that sparkle so brilliantly in the warm morning sun. To smell, the coffee aroma moving about our homes and offices. Or like me, feel the aches and pains of arthritis.
Thanks everyone, for allowing me the freedom, to sit and write this in the comfort of my home. God Bless America!
And speaking of taxes, seems they sure aren't falling. We could go on about that topic but not this morning. No politics either. Let's chat about the season we are in Fall.
Now fall means hunting season to most Mainer's like myself. And bird hunting starts soon. Speaking of birds, boy did I ever see a nice flock of Turkey's the other day while out on my Hog (no lipstick!). And guess where? No, right in front of the Town Office. Heck I was screeching to a halt, trying to retrieve my camera for a good a shot, and looking for name tags all at the same time. I see the Fall hunting season for Turkey is coming right up, too bad I might have limited out on that day. Hmm! food for thought, maybe a blind.
It is expected, that today, but probably not before 9am though, it should be "Officially" made known to me, the outcome of the Petition to Recall Norma Wells from town council. Hey it does take time to verify (25) twenty-five names. They have had five days to do this and bet they want to get it right the first time. Just hope we as taxpayers aren't paying overtime for this effort.
The success of all this effort depends on your support this voting season. Take aim with a steady hand. Give it your best shot. And only aim at what you want to shoot.
Thank you.
Signed,
