Volunteers Needed To Help Out

Keep ME Warm (Lisbon) seeking Volunteers

Are you interested is assisting the elderly in Lisbon?

Keep ME Warm is seeking volunteers to weatherize up to 25 homes in the Lisbon area.
The Maine State Housing Authority provides the weatherization kits, which include plastic sheeting, window shrink-wrap, pipe insulation, caulking, furnace filters and energy-saving light bulbs. Maine State Housing provides a little video to show you what to do, but basically you bring a hammer and a hair blow dryer.

Working in teams of three, volunteers will weatherize 3 to 5 homes on October 25 (Make a Difference Day). If you are interested please contact Judy Hardy-Goddard at 353-3000 ext. 124.
