It was a most exciting match up as the Greyhound's hosted Gardener's
finest hoping to better the 10 point loss they suffered the last go-
around. Improvement doesn't do justice for what fans saw on the brisk
Thursday afternoon as both teams fought eagerly for possession of the
ball. Gardner was only able to get a handful of shots on goal but
Keeper Eric Kane stopped every one including a penalty kick. Both
teams went scoreless until late in the second half when Gardner was
able to slip 3 fortunate goals past the tiring Sugg defense to defeat
the home team 0-3. The 2 & 5 Greyhounds will head to Maranacook for
their next game Tuesday October 14 as they face off again in what is
bound to be a challenging game.
