The PW Sugg Greyhounds and Hall-Dale Bulldogs exchanged respectful
salutations after a grueling 1-1 match on a rain-soaked Lisbon field.
Perhaps the most evenly matched teams, these two battled for the
second time fighting for every play from kickoff to the end of the
game. Neither team made getting off any shots an easy task due to the
impenetrable force of the defense typified by fullbacks like Lisbon's
Jacob Fusaro. The only goal for Hall-Dale came on a spectacular corner
kick in the first half from #34 Alex Guiou who put it directly in
front of the goal where it was headed in by #10 Cameron Bell. Lisbon
would then have to continue looking for a way through the Bulldog
defense which proved much easier said than done but the tenacious
Greyhound offense found a way and Left Halfback Austin Bedford put one
in and denied a Bulldog victory. The [3-5-1] 'Hounds will prepare to
face-off with Monmouth in an away game rematch Tuesday, October 25.
