Lisbon High School Principal Welcomes Jobs for Maine’s Graduate Specialist

Lisbon
– Lisbon High School faculty were introduced to Joe Menard, by school
principal, Ken Healey, during a recent staff meeting. Menard is a
specialist for the Jobs for Maine’s Graduates (JMG) program at the
school. “JMG is an organization offered in more than 60
Maine schools,” shares Menard, “reaching approximately 200 communities,
and serving more than 3,200 students per year.” The JMG curriculum
focuses on career development, job attainment, job survival, leadership
training, self development and personal skills. “The goals of the
program are to offer skills to help students achieve better grades,
experience a connectedness to school, improve their outlook and
self-esteem and offer students an understanding of pathways and
opportunities to future success,” according to Healey. FMI on the
