Lisbon Rec 7th/8th grade football 14 - Dirigo 34‏

On Wednesday 9/22, Lisbon Rec 7th/8th grade football suffered their second loss, 14-34 against Dirigo.

The defense fought hard. Highlights included a successful goal-line stand after a 50-yard four-play drive by Dirigo that ended on the 1 yard line. The defenseive line gets credit for keeping the ball out of the end zone. Credit goes to Logan Moulton, Beckett Wagner, Robert Wood, Adam Desjardins, Joe Philbrick, Darren Ward, and Sean Ball. Individually, Darrren Ward had 3 tackles and 5 assists, and Sean Ball had 2 tackle and 9 assists.

Kyle Bouget (Q) completed 5 of 9 passes for 128 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown pass caught by Joe Philbrick for the score. He also ran for one touchdown.

Lisbon Rec 7th/8th football next game is Wednesday, 9/29, 4:00 pm. at home VS Monmouth.
