LISBON — The Town Council on Tuesday discussed cuts to the
proposed 2018 fiscal year budget of $8.66 million and adding items to
the unassigned fund balance.
With an 8.36 percent increase from this fiscal year's budget, Town Manager Diane Barnes suggested removing $50,000 for upgrades to the computer server, $40,000 for upgrades to the Police Department's radio equipment and $75,000 for the Fire Department's capital improvement. These items would be paid for by the unassigned fund.
