Townhall -The CIA’s new policy will bestow “enhanced death benefits” for contractors and employees who have worked for the agency starting in the 1980s. As for Doherty’s family, they are expected to receive around $400,000. Doherty’s sister, Kate Quigley, said she was “thrilled” to receive the phone call and is excited that the new program will help dozens of other families.
The House Select Committee on Benghazi was especially adamant about helping the Doherty family in their effort to receive government aid and thankful to learn the CIA had changed its policy.
“I am glad the agency made this decision so the Doherty family and others who have lost loved ones in service to and sacrifice for our country will finally receive the recognition and honor they deserve,” said Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) in a statement.
State Department officials removed files from the secretary’s office related to the Benghazi attack in Libya and transferred them to another department after receiving a congressional subpoena last spring, delaying the release of the records to Congress for over a year.
Attorneys for the State Department said the electronic folders, which contain hundreds of documents related to the Benghazi attack and Libya, were belatedly rediscovered at the end of last year.
They said the files had been overlooked by State Department officials because the executive secretary’s office transferred them to another department and flagged them for archiving last April, shortly after receiving a subpoena from the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
The new source of documents includes electronic folders used by senior officials under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They were originally kept in the executive secretary’s office, which handles communication and coordination between the secretary of state’s office and other department bureaus.

In it, Lewis destroyed the #BlackLivesMatter movement for their unjust depiction of racism in America and for their complete blindness to “black on black crime.”
I fully support all children in the United States having equal access to a quality education. And one part of that education should be centered on learning the American experience, our history, our fundamental principles and values. There is no doubt we’ve failed almost two generations in teaching them the basics — civics and such. And now as our open borders policy floods America with non-Americans, we have to ask, are we teaching or indoctrinating in our public school system?

(Via Daily Caller) Last summer, the FBI prepped a website called “Don’t Be a Puppet,” aimed at preventing Muslim children from being recruited by violent extremists. Users were asked to help identify radicals, and a virtual pair of scissors would cut strings to help the puppet escape, if the right answers were chosen. After inviting educators and civil liberties groups for input on the project, however, the FBI delayed its launch due to concerns it discriminated against Muslims and could lead to bullying.
(Via Freebeacon) The Obama administration is now advising foreign banks on how to bypass existing U.S. sanctions when dealing with Iran, according to the State Department, which disclosed that officials are offering guidance on how to grant the Islamic Republic access to billions of dollars in frozen assets.
However, the administration would not comment when pressed by reporters on whether foreign banks would be permitted to conduct monetary transactions with Iran using American dollars.

Sources close to these analysts told The Daily Beast that they were actively targeted by military leadership for not delivering a glowing report on U.S. progress in the war against the Islamic State, The Daily Beast reports.
Congress is investigating whether the Obama administration misled lawmakers last summer about the extent of concessions granted to Iran under the nuclear deal, as well as if administration officials have been quietly rewriting the deal’s terms in the aftermath of the agreement, according to sources and a formal notice sent to the State Department.
The concerns come after statements from top officials last week suggesting that Iran is set to receive greater weapons and sanctions relief, moves that the administration had promised Congress would never take place as White House officials promoted the deal last summer.
