It's official, Gen. Michael Flynn, lifelong Democrat and former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, has been offered the position of national security adviser by President-elect Donald Trump, CBS News reported.
Flynn believes Islamic extremism poses an existential threat on a global scale.

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Rep. Mike Pompeo to be the next CIA director.

The Kansas congressman and tea party favorite is a member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence and House Select Committee on Benghazi, as well as the committee on Energy and Commerce.

Leading the charge today was the announcement of The Donald’s pick for attorney general – a position once thought to be a possibility for one-time rival turned supporter, Ted Cruz.  Instead, Trump went with the ever popular Jeff Sessions, a senator from Alabama.
