Lisbon Residents, Enough Is Enough

Dear Lisbon Residents,

I am writing to you in hopes that you have had enough of the CRAP that has been allowed to permeate OUR community.  

Referring specifically to the administration of Lisbon town government.  In particular the illegal dealings of council chair Mike Bowie.  He has continually withheld information from other councilors, manipulated information and deceived the taxpayers.  

We have reached a very critical financial situation in this town at the hands of town manager Steve Eldridge and  assessor Dow.  

We need to make a drastic change.  Until the town government administration 'Wakes Up' and corrects the many many wrongs that have been accumulating, you should not pay your tax bill.  It is necessary to do this collectively, as I strongly feel that there is no other way to turn this.   

Just yesterday, three councilors requested, of council chair Mike Bowie, to hold a "special' council meeting as mandated in the town charter, all to be REFUSED.  We have been inundated with calls from our constituents regarding this year's tax bill and requested this meeting so that we, as a town council  could discuss this important matter.

The Incompetence displayed by their 'own' actions by the current town manager, assessor and council chair warrant nothing else then to be thrown out of town along with the Chief of Police.  

It has been and continues to be a 'good ol' boys club' that we as a community cannot and must not put up with anymore.
