GOPDD: Obama Blamed For Death Threats Against Police, Teachers in Muslim Student Clock Case

By -

Mayor Beth Van Duyne of Irving, Texas is blaming death threats received by Irving’s police chief, police officers, teachers and school administrators on President Barack Obama for his hasty support before the facts were known. Fourteen-year-old high school freshman Ahmed Mohamed was briefly arrested after bringing a suspicious ‘briefcase clock’ to school last week.

Mohamed’s claim to have made the clock himself has been exposed by experts as a hoax. The experts state Mohamed took a manufactured digital alarm clock (a 1986 Radio Shack Micronta brand clock-radio) out of its housing and placed it in a pencil box that made it look like a briefcase bomb.

GOPDD: Tennessee Common Core School Standards Teach That Allah is the One True God

By -

In yet another example of how bad, how un-American, the Common Core curriculum is, in Tennessee it is teaching kids that Allah is the one true god.

Middle school parents in Tennessee are up in arms on learning that their children were instructed to recite and write, “Allah is the only god,” as part of a world history project.

REALITY What Really Is Going On Worldwide Jones: Emergency Alert, Global Elite Are Now Evacuating The US

Many economists and people of influence are telling us that the world’s economy is on the verge of implosion. Certainly all the QE and 0 or negative interest rates can’t keep us afloat forever. As Ron Paul pointed out recently, the market will one day raise interest rates and at that point implosion is inevitable.
Add to that the massive uptick of military exercises seen worldwide and Jones’ warning doesn’t seem so far-fetched.

Total Emergency Alert: Elite Now Evacuating

From the Greek-Euro crisis to gold’s sudden rise in popularity, the writing on the wall points to unavoidable economic doom.
On the eve of the Jade Helm military drill set to take place next month, Texas Governor Greg Abbott indicated his distrust of the Federal Reserve’s fiat monetary system in a move to repatriate $1 billion of gold back to his home state.
Countries such as China and Germany have made similar moves, with the German Central Bank, or Bundesbank, earlier this year saying it also has plans to repatriate 300 tonnes of gold from the New York Fed by 2020.
Just today, British hedge fund manager Ian Spreadbury, who handles billions in investment, revealed he warns his clients of the market’s “systemic risk,” and said he advises them to store “physical cash” due to its overwhelming volatility.

What Insecure People Post on Facebook, Plus More Secret Meanings in Your Status

Scientists have some very specific ideas about what you’re really saying in your Facebook updates. (Photo: Getty Images)
There’s the old saying that you can’t believe everything you read, yet many experts in the psychology field are saying that Facebook postings can offer insight into someone’s personality. The most recent study comes from Brunel University in London, which found that numerous Facebookers are either dealing with low self-esteem or have traits of narcissism.
Wow.
Researchers provided 555 Facebook members with an online survey that measured the “Big Five” personality traits, which included extroversion, neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness. Self-esteem and narcissism were also analyzed. After gathering the data, the psychologists concluded that frequent updates about:
  • One’s romantic partner most likely indicates a person who has low self-esteem
  • Personal and professional achievements most likely indicates a person who is a narcissist being that they’re seeking “attention and validation from the Facebook community”
  • Healthy eating habits and exercise regimes also indicates a person who’s a narcissist since their likely goal is to receive compliments on their appearance
Read more here
According to study author Dr. Tara Marshall, sometimes the narcissists’ behavior works to their advantage. “Although our results suggest that narcissists’ bragging pays off because they receive more likes and comments to their status updates, it could be that their Facebook friends politely offer support while secretly disliking such egotistical displays,” she said in a formal statement.
However, these findings from Brunel University are not the first that connect Facebook postings with personality traits. A study released from University of Florida found that one Facebook behavior was linked to levels of narcissism — the rating someone gave their own profile shot. While this was true for both men and women (the higher their self-rating of attractiveness, the higher the chances of narcissism), they added that the frequency of status postings in females can also predict narcissism.
Then there’s previous research from The University of Kansas , which found that people who tend to be more agreeable post less often, people who are more open-minded are less likely to respond to other people’s updates yet will post more often about political issues and those who are conscientious tend to agree more often with other’s updates.
As for the people who rarely offer status updates yet log in for more hours than the typical Facebook user … according to a study conducted by University of Alabama Huntsville, these members fall into the shy category.
When it comes to overall Facebook use, other research has shown that excessive time online can damage relationships, make you less happy and even be difficult for those suffering from self-esteem issues.
Jacqueline Hornor Plumez, PhD, a psychologist and author of The Bitch In Your Head, tells Yahoo Health she is not surprised the terms “narcissism” and “low self-esteem” have been linked together, as seen in numerous studies on Facebook, including the latest one from London. “The interesting thing is that people who have low self-esteem and people who narcissists are really two sides of the same coin,” she explains. “While it appears to be that narcissists think they’re superior, in fact, it’s a defense against their feelings of inferiority. And they are both based on the fact that both types of people are highly self-critical.”
And while she stresses there’s nothing wrong with sharing the happenings in your life — “My husband surprised me with roses!” “I’m so proud of my daughter!” “Looking good in my new size 4 jeans!” — Plumez says making these types of announcements on social media usually boils down to someone’s need for attention.
“There’s a huge difference in the way you feel when you sit down with a good friend over a cup of coffee and share what’s going on with your life versus sitting in your office or in your bedroom posting on Facebook and hoping to get Likes, comments and praise,” she states. “The motivation is the same, but it’s like eating junk food versus something nutritious.”
And same goes for the frequent postings that include selfies. “I think it’s a longing for connection,” says Plumez. “I know many people today are highly self-critical. And that self criticism is a nasty, circular process: You criticize yourself, which makes you feel lonely and unworthy of real relationships and love, and then you go and try to find the praise—but it doesn’t really feel that wonderful.”
She adds that while Facebook and other forms of social media can be “mildly interesting” in terms of discovering what other people are up to, she doesn’t advise using it to obtain a self-esteem boost. “One of the famous psychologists named Alfred Adler said that mental health is a combination of self-esteem and altruism,” she says. “If you just try to get your self-esteem by somehow feeling superior, it isn’t going to feel good. You have to have that connection of caring about other people. And I think that Facebook, while it appears to be connecting everybody, can be isolating.”

Lisbon HS to Host FUSE Siemens Event‏

LISBON STUDENTS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN FUSE CHALLENGE

High school students try out FUSE challenges of Wind Commander and a Solar Roller at a Siemens outreach event.

Lisbon – A group of 60 Lisbon High School (LHS) freshman students will be participating in green technologies program called FUSE on Tuesday, April 14.   The FUSE program invites young people to explore hands-on challenges inspired by real-world STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and design practices.  FUSE is a new kind of interest-driven learning experience developed by researchers and educators in the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University.  Siemens has partnered with Northwestern and created classes offered to students in grades K-12.

The Siemens Building Technologies Division in Buffalo Grove, Ill., is the North American market leader for safe and secure, energy-efficient and environment-friendly building and infrastructures.  As a technology partner, service provider, system integrator and product vendor, Building Technologies has offerings for fire protection, life safety and security as well as building automation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and energy management.

The FUSE program offers a wide array of challengers that appeal to students’ existing interests in music, design, and pop culture.  Students work in teams of five at their own pace to complete the FUSE challenges, leveling up through increasingly complex projects and producing unique artifacts along the way.  FUSE Facilitators for the event at LHS, 2 Sugg Drive, Lisbon Falls, will be Science Teachers Rita Newell and Anne Wallace.  Teachers will assist with problem solving during the challenges presented by the complex projects.  Combining STEM programs with FUSE classes provides an additional approach to the sciences for a more diverse group of students.

Siemens is supporting the development of FUSE challenges in Lisbon and Gardiner Schools as part of their Green Footprint program.  Students at both locations will have the opportunity to try out the challenges and build their own wind turbines and solar cars.  To learn more about the Siemens Building Technologies Division visit  www.usa.siemens.com/buildingtechnologies.  FYI or other events and programs, volunteer and partnership opportunities in Lisbon Schools call 754.0021 or email mmillhime@lisbonschoolsme.org.  The latest updates can be found at Community Resource News in Lisbon Schools on FaceBook.

WND: 'Top teacher' winner quits due to Common Core

Announced to stunned audience: 'I can’t do it anymore'

Honored as the “Top Teacher” by ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Michael” show, Stacie Starr was speaking at an education forum earlier this week when she dropped a bombshell.
The veteran teacher at Elyria High School in Elyria, Ohio, told a stunned audience Monday she will resign at the end of the school year because of the new federal Common Core system of standards and assessments adopted by her state, reported the local Chronicle-Telegram newspaper.

Stacie Starr

At the forum, which sought to help parents navigate the complex standardized testing system, Starr was talking about how special education has suffered under Common Core.
As she fought back tears, she disclosed she is leaving traditional education and plans ‘to teach in a different way.”
“I can’t do it anymore, not in this ‘drill ‘em and kill ‘em’ atmosphere,” she said. “I don’t think anyone understands that in this environment if your child cannot quickly grasp material, study like a robot and pass all of these tests, they will not survive.”
Her announcement was met with gasps of disbelief, the paper reported.
She explained that she has faith in her ninth-grade students, but they are reading at sometimes a fourth- and fifth-grade level.
“Each and every day, I have to look in my students’ eyes and tell them I can’t help them because the state has decided they have to prove what they know,” she said, according to the Chronicle-Telegram.
Teaching is getting harder, she said, because “the rules keep changing.”
Last month, a sixth-grade teacher in upstate New York tearfully asked the local school board to be reassigned due to her objections to teaching using Common Core, reported WNYT-TV in Albany, New York.
“This is not developmentally appropriate for my students, and I find it cruel and harmful to suggest that it is,” Jennifer Rickert told the board.
“I do not believe in knowingly setting up my students for failure,” she said. “I cannot remain silent for one more day.”
Rickert received a standing ovation by parents and teachers in the audience.
On Monday, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a possible 2016 presidential candidate, began promoting a 42-page proposal to reform American education at the national level that would repeal Common Core along with a general rollback of federal authority. He wants to increase school-choice options for parents and give educators greater administrative freedom.
‘I have to get out’
Meanwhile, another teacher told Starr at the Ohio education forum she also is quitting.
“I’m like you. I feel like I have to get out,” said Jackie Conrad, a third-grade teacher.
PJ Media noted another veteran teacher in the Elyria district, Dawn Neely, implored the school board to take control of the “testing culture” in their local schools, the Chronicle-Telegram said in Feb. 5 story.
“I don’t know what to do. I am morally against what we are doing, and I think history will judge us for what we do to fight for our kids,” she told the Elyria school board. “Look through the test books, and you tell me if you think they are developmentally appropriate. No one is advocating for our district, and I am asking my district to be honest with the parents about what we are doing to students.”
In response, the board president, Kathryn Karpus, said the district can do nothing about it, because it’s bound by Ohio laws that mandate the testing.
As WND reported, Common Core also has been accused of seizing control of education from local jurisdictions, politicizing subjects, censoring conservative viewpoints, dumbing down subjects, imposing one-size-fits-all standards and data mining of private information.
Mary Calamia, a licensed clinical social worker, said she observed a significant increase in the number of students struggling with anxiety and depression since Common Core’s implementation in New York state.
“What was so upsetting for [the children] was they couldn’t do the work, they feel stupid, they were extremely anxious, [and] extremely distressed about going to school,” she said.
In Georgia, as WND reported, Meg Norris was forced out of her teaching job in Hall County last year after she ran afoul of mandatory testing for Common Core.
“We were one of the first counties in the nation to implement Common Core, and at first the teachers felt like we were special, we were all excited. I drank the Kool-Aid,” said Norris. “But after teaching Common Core in my class for about 18 months, I started seeing a lot of behaviors in my students that I hadn’t seen before. They started becoming extremely frustrated and at that age, 12 years old, they can’t verbalize why they couldn’t ‘get it.’”
Will Estrada, director of federal relations for the Home School Legal Defense Association, has raised privacy concerns. He said the assessments tied to Common Core collect more than 400 points of data on every child.
“It’s their likes and dislikes, grade-point average all the way through school, their home situation, health questions,” he said. “It’s an incredibly invasive collection of information that they are trying to collect in what they call P-20, or pre-K through workforce.”

Green Bag, excellent‏

Green Bag is a great journal of law that is written by some of the best.  http://www.greenbag.org. Journal articles are freely downloadable.

Excellent humor, fantastic insights, and some good integrity that makes you admire the system when it works like it should, and sometimes when it works like it shouldn't.

Another good site is Simple Justice, a blog by a federal judge and he is amazing, going through chemo while carrying his case load.   The man has empathy and is not reticent in writing about where the system is weak, and where judges are humanly weak.

This is the TRUE Dumbing Down of America‏, Folks We Need Lots of Help !

by Jessy Watters

WATCH: This video proves just how broken our education system is

There are only a few opportunities in life to make a real difference by standing up for what you believe in. The next one is coming on July 22! Get your tickets now!
Glenn’s latest book CONFORM: Exposing the Truth About Common Core and Public Education focuses a lot on the dangers of a nationalized set of standards, but it also takes a look at the problems that plague our public education system more generally. Perhaps there is no greater indication of the failure of American education than a video aired on The O’Reilly Factor earlier this week.

On Memorial Day, O’Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters headed to a Long Island beach to ask beachgoers basic U.S. history questions like “Who did America fight in the Revolutionary War?” and “What was the Civil War about?”

Needless to say, the answers will make your head explode.

TUMAB: U.S. Department Of Education MUST Be Abolished!‏

PARENTS ARE FIGHTING THE WRONG BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!

The No. 1 problem facing parents/teachers going up against Communist Core is: the United States Department of Education which is tied into the international UNESCO, OECD, etc.

Parents will never bring their public or private schools back to local control and academics as long as the United States Department of Education is NOT abolished…and that means all its labs and centers as well.

The source of every rotten bit of Communist Core can be traced back to the U.S. Department of Education, its labs, centers and UNESCO.

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If they do tell you otherwise, they are either uninformed or lying.

Instead of running all over the country, funded by Heritage Foundation and other neocon groups, getting legislation passed to kill Communist Core, parents should be raising big bucks to put ads in every state newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, all major city newspapers DEMANDING THAT THE U.S. DEPT. OF EDUCATION BE ABOLISHED.

Remember how Reagan used that promise to get elected President in 1979?

Why? Because the Republicans at that time, in late seventies, knew Americans would vote for him if he promised to get rid of the Department.

I recall at the time that a high percentage of public school teachers supported Reagan for that very reason.

Sure would be nice if parents understood what I am trying to say.”

“We education researchers, some of whom are involved in the Exposing the Global Road to Ruin through Education disc sets raised $5000 in 1985 to put a full page ad in The Washington Times to expose these treasonous agreements which President Ronald Reagan signed. We also raised $5000 to hold a press conference at the National Press Club to expose these agreements. The disc sets, and one cd (disc #8) which includes superb written submissions, are
FREE to view at deliberatedumbingdown.com and at Charlotte Iserbyt You Tube Channel.

{Click on above links to go directly to sites. Now isn't this technology great? Do something about it!!!!!}

Our people had better read every word of these agreements, especially the sections on educational exchanges, curriculum development, and technology! They should, at the same time, read “Soviets in the Classroom…America’s Latest education Fad”, 1989, which covers not only these agreements, but the Carnegie Corporation’s Agreement (President David Hamburg) with the Soviet Academy of Science which included development of computer courseware in critical thinking for early elementary school children. For the Marxist change agents implementing Communist Core and other diabolical programs, Critical Thinking is Marxist Thinking. Lenin, himself, defined “thinking” as being NOT absolute, but evolving. Doesn’t that sound familiar?

Is it any wonder it was Reagan who arranged for public/private (corporate fascist) partnerships necessary for implementing the Soviet polytech (school to work) system necessary for planned economy, going in right now? Exactly what Carnegie Corporation called for in 1934 in Conclusions and Recommendations for the Social Studies?

Is it any wonder he did not fulfill his promise to abolish the U.S. Dept. of Education?

People should focus, focus, focus. There is one and only one action which will take care of the problem facing our nation today in education:

THE UNITED STATES MUST ABOLISH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION WHICH IS IN BED WITH ALL EDUCATION MINISTRIES AROUND THE WORLD AND TAKES IT ORDERS FROM UNESCO. HOW MANY PEOPLE REALIZE THAT IN 1970 NINETEEN OF UNESCO’S EDUCATION ADVISORS, OUT OF TWENTY, CAME FROM COMMUNIST COUNTRIES?

And our people pick away at Communist Core, thinking it is something new, not going after the ever-increasing international control being carried out by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

THE GENERAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS, click here.

Soviets In The Classroom: America’s Latest Education Fad, click here.

Here are some excerpts from “Soviets in the Classroom…”

1. Cambridge-based Educators for Social Responsibility (ESR) project, “Educating for New Ways of Thinking: An American-Soviet Institute.” Two such institute sessions have been held (one in Leningrad the summer of 1989) at which “Soviet and American educators examined classroom theory and practice in critical thinking about social and political issues and worked on recommendations and resources for improving the ways we teach about each other’s country, and on A Source-Book for New Ways of Thinking in Education: A U.S.-Soviet Guide for use by teachers and students in both countries.”

“Critical thinking” is the latest fad to hit our children’s classrooms. N. Landa’s Lenin: On Educating Youth, published by the Soviet state-controlled Novosti Press, quotes Lenin on “thinking” as follows:

To pose a real question means to define a problem which demands a new approach and new research…. Sometimes accepted truth no longer answers as a solution for a serious and pressing problem.

The school should cultivate in pupils the ability to perceive scientifically evolved truths as stages along the endless road of cognition—not as something stationary and set.

More recently, an article in Education Week (4–9–86) entitled “Are Teachers Ready to Teach Pupils to Think?” laments the fact that graduating college seniors show little evolution of alternative views on any issue, tending to treat all opinions as equally good, tending to hold opinions based largely on whims or unsubstantiated beliefs, and hesitating to take stands based on evidence and reason.

Summing up a decade of research in the 1960’s, O.J. Harvey laments that very high percentages… [of educators] “operated in cognitive styles grounded in absolute assumptions—viewing reality in terms of good/bad, right/wrong, and either/or, while attributing goodness and truth to wise and all-knowing authorities.”

One doesn’t have to have a Ph.D. to accurately predict what U.S.-Soviet jointly developed critical thinking curricula will look like. Do American parents want their children exposed to this type of education, especially when it will also be on computer where they can’t get their hands on it?

2. The Carnegie Corporation’s exchange agreement with the Soviet Academy of Sciences has resulted in “joint research on the application of computers in early elementary education, focusing especially on the teaching of higher level skills and complex subjects to younger children.” (“Higher level skills” is often a euphemism for “critical thinking skills,” or values, attitudes, etc.) Carnegie’s 1988 one-year, $250,000 grant is funding implementation of this program, coordinated on the American side by Michael Cole, Director of the Laboratory of Comparative Human Cognition at the University of California, San Diego.

3. The American-Soviet Textbook Study Project began in 1977, was suspended in 1979 when Soviet troops invaded Afghanistan, and resumed in 1985 under the Geneva Agreement. At a conference held in Racine, Wisconsin in November 1987, the U.S. representatives acquiesced to the Soviet insistence that American textbooks should present a more “balanced” (i.e., friendly) discussion of Lenin and should give the Russians more “credit” for their role in World War II. A.M. Rosenthal of the New York Times said in a December 8, 1987 editorial that American educators solemnly discuss with Soviet educators the mutual need for textbook revision, just as if the state did not censor every single book published in the Soviet Union and the Russians could write as they pleased. That is comedy, if you like it real black.

4. Scholars from the American Council of Learned Societies and the Ministry of Education of the Soviet Union met in the United States in 1986 and agreed to establish a Commission on Education that will be responsible for joint scholarly relations in pedagogy and related fields between the United States and the Soviet Union. Some major joint U.S.-Soviet project themes are: Methods of Teaching and Learning School Science and Math Subjects Using Computers; Theory of Teaching and Learning; Psychological and Pedagogical Problems of Teaching in the Development of Pre-School and School-age Children, and Problems of Teaching Children with Special Needs.

6. The Copen Foundation/New York State Education Department/Soviet Academy of Sciences agreement “links students, teachers, administrators in U.S. and Soviet schools by computer and video-telephone lines.” Mr. Copen declared Soviet officials are especially interested in studying the effects of telecommunications on intercultural understanding, teaching methods, and learning outcomes, and that the Soviets have assigned five scientists to monitor the project.

7. This agreement should be challenged on constitutional grounds since Article I, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution says, “No State shall, without the consent of Congress,… enter into any agreement or compact with another State, or with a foreign power.

"Sure would be nice if parents understood what I am trying to say."

Climate Engineering Weather Warfare, and the Collapse of Civilization - PLEASE SHARE!!

Planet Earth is under an all out weather warfare assault.
In this video, Dane Wigington gives another presentation in Northern California on the harmful effects of Geoengineering, declaring that there is virtually NO NATURAL WEATHER due to the massive global climate engineering. The very essentials needed to sustain life on earth are being recklessly destroyed by these programs. This is not a topic that will begin to affect us in several years, but is now already causing massive animal and plant die off around the world, as well as human illness.

The debate over whether geoengineering programs are going on is now a moot point. We have more than enough data to confirm it. We have actual footage showing tankers spraying. The materials showing up on the ground are exactly the same materials mentioned in the numerous geoengineering patents and documents. Our skies today are simply not normal. Upon examination this cannot be denied. They are filled with nanoparticulates of heavy metals. But the skies have been filled with grid patterns for so long now that we are used to them and do not see them anymore. Sadly, the fact is that people do not look up.

To be clear, what we are seeing is not cloud seeding to increase rainfall. These particulates are designed to block the sun and move the jet stream. Dane explains how this is causing the drought and deluge being experienced around the globe.

Our atmosphere is nothing but a massive physics lab to geoengineering scientists who have no concern whatsoever about the consequences to humanity or any living thing, including themselves. The experiments are literally tearing the planet apart and destroying life on earth.

Dane reports, among other things, on:
• Geoengineering related climate disruptions, extreme drought and deluge
• Ozone depletion
• Methane release
• Drastic reduction in arctic sea ice
• Global oxygen content reductions
• Oceans on the brink of collapse
• Massive fish die offs
• 200 species becoming extinct every single day
• A drastic rise in Autism, Alzheimer's, and Dementia
• Crisis level forest reductions
• The sterilization of soils making it impossible for plants to grow without Monsanto's aluminum resistant seeds

Dane Wigington presents hard data which reveals what these catastrophic programs have done to our planet to date and what they will do if they are allowed to continue. Please take the time to watch this video, follow up with some investigation of your own on our site -- http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org, and share this information far and wide.

TUMAB:The Globalist Brainwashing of Your Children‏

Source: The Common Sense Show with Dave Hodges

“Common Core is an undisputed and unmitigated disaster. The two rollout states, New York and Florida, are already taking steps to remove themselves from Common Core. This is largely due to the fact that both New York’s and Florida’s student test scores have gone into the toilet since they embraced Common Core. Many advocates are clamoring for the dismantling of this UN inspired approach to education which perverts both math and English and will force children to read government propaganda as opposed to classic literature.”

“All federalized education programs have thrown billions of taxpayer dollars down the toilet, while contributing to the dramatic decrease in student performance. For example, SAT Reading scores, for the high school class of 2012, reached a 40+ year low since the implementation of No Child Left Behind. (NCLB). Common Core is NCLB on steroids.”

View “A Dark Future for Education?” interview with Dr. Duke Pesta,  and read more HERE.

“Dr. Duke Pesta is a English professor from the University of Wisconsin. He is also one of the leading voices in the country, speaking out against the Common Core Curriculum. Pesta speaks clearly to the fact that our children’s appreciation of the classics is in real jeopardy. Under Common Core, children are exposed to 50% informational texts as opposed to 100% traditional classic literature as has always been the case. Dr. Pesta, listed in the video below, clearly states that 50% of the classics will be replaced by children being forced to read Obama’s Executive Orders, unchallenged climate change documents with no dissenting opinion and various social justice documents. Pesta also claims that home-schooling is not a viable option for escaping the Common Core Curriculum because the ACT and the SAT have been taken over by Common Core advocates and are changing the tests to reflect the Common Core Curriculum. The globalists have us coming and going.”

Charlotte Iserbyt Weighs In – “As bad as Common Core is, according to Charlotte Iserbyt, Common Core is a distraction and its ultimate purpose is to destroy public education. Iserbyt, a former Senior Policy Educational Analyst under President Reagan, states that School Choice is the real enemy. Iserbyt feels that Common Core is so egregious it will lead to a mass exodus to charter schools in order to escape its pitfalls. She is leery of charter schools because of the fact that they do not have elected school boards. And therefore, charter schools are free to input any curriculum without any parental opposition because charter schools do not have elected school boards. Ultimately, School Choice initiatives will prove to be the death of parental control over education and the schools will become bastions of a Hitler Youth Movement. In which free-flowing government propaganda will inundate our children with Agenda 21, globalist views. Remember, Professor Pesta stated that 50% of a literature class will be filled with students reading things like Presidential Executive Orders.

Iserbyt’s views seem to be justified because, Huppenthal is making robocalls to Arizona citizens and encouraging them to spend their “school choice vouchers” on private education. This should be an impeachable offense in that the State Superintendent of Education would be, in any way, lobbying for public schools to go to anything but a public school. Why would head of Arizona’s education system advocate for the erosion of Arizona’s public education system? My answer would be the same reason as to why the banksters installed Obama as the President.

It seems the prudent course of action would consist of removing Common Core from the public schools and restoring the oversight of education to where it belongs, with local school boards. Once local schools are removed from Common Core, then it is time to truly reform our schools with local oversight, not federally mandated controls. This is a doable task because citizens can exact pressure on local legislators to abandon Common Core.

Meanwhile, the globalist brainwashing of your children continues full speed ahead.”

Examining the Dangers of Common Core with Dr. Duke Pesta

Parents around the nation are upset at Common Core practices in schools. They claim the system does not allow schools, or students, to properly test students. Proponents of Common Core teaching say the system provides schools with a consistent learning path. Supporters claim teachers and students have a clear idea of what is to be taught, and learned, in different subjects. Many critics of this style of teaching say the curriculum discourages diversity.

So far, 45 states and the District of Columbia have adopted the standards. When the curriculum was first developed, many conservatives felt it represented a federal takeover of education. The Obama Administration strongly supports the ideals of Common Core. Now, opposition is brewing to the standards from liberal groups.

Doctor Duke Pesta is a English professor from the University of Wisconsin. He is also one of the leading voices in the country, speaking out against the Common Core Curriculum.

Pesta is our guest on the show today. He is here to talk about the standards, as well as some of the problems with Common Core education. We will discuss the possible threat these standards hold for American education.
