Corruption In New Jersey!?, Come On!?.
Informant, Rabbi's Son Allegedly Aided Massive New Jersey Corruption Bust
Friday, July 24, 2009
AP
July 23: FBI agents lead arrested suspects from their headquarters as part of a corruption investigation in Newark, N.J.
Officials are decrying political corruption in New Jersey that is making international headlines after more than 40 people, among them rabbis and elected officeholders, were arrested in an investigation in which some were accused of laundering tens of millions of dollars and of black-market trafficking of kidneys and fake Gucci handbags.
The 44 arrests Thursday were a remarkable number even for New Jersey, where more than 130 public officials have pleaded guilty or have been convicted of corruption since 2001. For more.....
HONEY,,, I'm In The Home!
More often, people stir honey into tea, use it to make desserts such as baklava and sometimes even spread it on toast. Now a new paper reveals that one kind of honey may be used as a novel first aid treatment.
The paper appears in the European Journal of Clinical Microbiological Infectious Diseases and examines the Leptospermum honey, found commonly in New Zealand and Australia.
Because honey has a low pH level, researchers found, it does not irritate the wound site. In addition, the treated, medical-grade honey also promotes the growth of new tissue and helps eliminate pain and scarring.

"Did America ever consider itself a Judeo-Christian nation?"
On May 6th, Congressman Forbes addressed the U.S. House of Representative on the House Floor in response to President Obama’s claims that the United States was not a Judeo-Christian nation. Congressman Forbes asks the questions "Did America ever consider itself a Judeo-Christian nation?" and "If America was once a Judeo-Christian nation, when did it cease to be?

There's More Than Bad Seeds To Augusta's Problems
New campaign rules in Maine, enacted by the 124th Legislature this spring, now require gubernatorial candidates seeking public financing to find 400 donors who will make $100 “seed money” donations in addition to the previously mandated 3,250 supporters who make $5 qualifying contributions.
The “seed money” stipulation erodes the intent of the Maine Clean Election Act and “subverts the will of the people,” as Green Independent Party candidate Lynne Williams accurately asserts. It consolidates power for established party machines and further distances voters from the individuals they elect to represent them.
It’s hogwash for lawmakers to claim that Maine needs this “seed money” to keep solvent the public campaign financing fund. Had legislators — the majority of whom took advantage of Clean Election Act funding to win their seats — not repeatedly raided the fund to compensate for their inability to balance the state budget, there would be plenty of money for the type of wide open and balanced gubernatorial race that would benefit all Mainers, not just Democratic and Republican insiders.

RANGELEY — A local business owner on Tuesday accused the Board of Selectmen of damaging his personal and professional reputation.
Martin Wilson, the sole proprietor of The Shed, explained that on July 18, he had hired local musicians to play at his restaurant to help give him some extra business and showcase local talent. At 6:05 p.m., a noise complaint was made and police told him to shut the music down shortly thereafter due to lack of a correct permit.
"What's crazy about this is, I don't need a permit," Wilson told the gathering of roughly 50 residents. "There's no town ordinance that says I need a permit for music."
Obama's Plan Would Repeal Medicare
The AARP and other senior advocacy groups have done their membership a major disservice. Nothing like looking out for your dues payers, heh? I mean, every democrat pushing this plan, Obama, Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid, et al have claimed, in fact bragged “we will fund Obama care through savings in Medicare.” How do you realize billions in Medicare savings? YOU CUT SERVICES, LOTS OF THEM and since Medicare is the government senior health insurance program, well, who do you think will be affected by the service cuts? (scroll down)

| | ||
President Barack Obama's healthcare proposal is, in effect, the repeal of the Medicare program as we know it. The elderly will go from being the group with the most access to free medical care to the one with the least access. Indeed, the principal impact of the Obama healthcare program will be to reduce sharply the medical services the elderly can use. No longer will their every medical need be met, their every medication prescribed, their every need to improve their quality of life answered. It is so ironic that the elderly, who were so vigilant when President George W. Bush proposed to change Social Security, are so relaxed about the Obama healthcare proposals. Bush's Social Security plan, which did not cut their benefits at all, aroused the strongest opposition among the elderly. But Obama's plan, which will totally gut Medicare and replace it with government-managed care and rationing, has elicited little more than a yawn from most senior citizens. It's time for the elderly to wake up before it is too late! In our new book, “Catastrophe,” we explain — in detail and in depth — the consequences the elderly of Canada are feeling from just this kind of program. Limited colonoscopies have led to a 25 percent higher rate of colon cancer, and a ban on the use of the two best chemotherapies are part of the reason why 42 percent of Canadians with colon cancer die while 31 percent of Americans, who have access to these two medications, succumb to the disease. |

Bet You Did Not Know This!
Remember this EVERY TIME you have to talk to a customer service representative and you cannot understand him.
I did not know that we could do this, but I sure am going to try it. Help bring jobs back to the U.S.A. Ask for an American!

How to save some American jobs and we can help!
Hi Everyone,
I want to share with you some great information that I found out purely by
accident. I believe it can also save and create jobs in America while giving
people better customer service.
So how many times have you called a companies service phone line and found that the rep. can barely speak English? Once with a major mortgage company it was so bad I demanded to speak with someone who spoke English. Right at that moment I broke the code, the secret password for customer service.
Come to find out that every American company using overseas operators must transfer you to an American rep. by saying.......
" I want to speak to a representative in America ".

Didn't Read About This In The Main Stream Media
WASHINGTON — A chaotic scene unfolded near the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday after police shot and killed an armed man in what authorities described as a routine rush hour traffic stop that turned deadly.
U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Schneider said the unidentified 35-year-old man sped away in a white car after being stopped a few blocks from the Capitol. The man drove the wrong way down a street and ultimately crashed into a police cruiser in a heavily guarded area about a block north of the Capitol grounds, striking two officers with his car along the way, she said.
Police then opened fire after seeing the man hold up his handgun and refusing to put it down, said Schneider, who described the melee as “very fast moving, very fluid.”

American Hero
You're a 19-year-old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley , 11-14-1965, LZ X-ray, Vietnam . Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in.
You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.
Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter and you look up to see an unarmed Huey, but it doesn't seem real because no Medi-Vac markings are on it.
Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come.
He's coming anyway.
And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire as they load 2 or 3 of you on board.
Then he flies you up and out, through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses.
And he kept coming back, 13 more times, and took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.
Medal of Honor Recipient Ed Freeman died on Wednesday, June 25th, 2009, at the age of 80, in Boise , ID. May God rest his soul.
THANKS AGAIN, ED, FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR OUR COUNTRY.
RIP
Here Reads His Medal of Honor Citation
CAPTAIN ED W. FREEMAN
UNITED STATES ARMY
Captain Ed W. Freeman, United States Army, of Boise, Idaho, who distinguished himself by numerous acts of conspicuous gallantry and extraordinary intrepidity on 14 November 1965 while serving with Company A, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile). As a flight leader and second in command of a 16-helicopter lift unit, he supported a heavily engaged American infantry battalion at Landing Zone X-Ray in the Ia Drang Valley, Republic of Vietnam. The unit was almost out of ammunition after taking some of the heaviest casualties of the war, fighting off a relentless attack from a highly motivated, heavily armed enemy force. When the infantry commander closed the helicopter landing zone because of intense direct enemy fire, Captain Freeman risked his life by flying his unarmed helicopter through a gauntlet of enemy fire time after time, delivering critically needed ammunition, water, and medical supplies to the besieged battalion. His flights, by providing the engaged units with supplies of ammunition critical to their survival, directly affected the battle's outcome. Without them the units would almost surely have gone down, with much greater loss of life. After medical evacuation helicopters refused to fly into the area because of intense enemy fire, Captain Freeman flew 14 separate rescue missions, providing lifesaving evacuation of an estimated 30 seriously wounded soldiers-some of whom would not have survived had he not acted. All flights were made into a small emergency landing zone within 100 to 200 meters of the defensive perimeter, where heavily committed units were perilously holding off the attacking elements. Captain Freeman's selfless acts of great valor and extraordinary perseverance were far above and beyond the call of duty or mission and set a superb example of leadership and courage for all of his peers. Captain Freeman's extraordinary heroism and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.

GUN RIGHTS LEADERS JOIN IN OPPOSITION TO SOTOMAYOR CONFIRMATION.
BELLEVUE, WA – Several of the nation’s leading gun rights activists, including the heads of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and Second Amendment Foundation, today joined to oppose the confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor as an associate justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.
“ It is extremely important that a Supreme Court justice understand and appreciate the origin and meaning of the Second Amendment, a constitutional guarantee permanently enshrined in the Bill of Rights, ” said a letter from the group, which was hand-delivered to every member of the U.S. Senate. “Judge Sotomayor’s record on the Second Amendment causes us grave concern about her treatment of this enumerated Constitutional right.”
Included among the signators were Sandra S. Froman, former president of the National Rifle Association; Alan M. Gottlieb, CCRKBA chairman; Joseph Tartaro, SAF president; Gene Hoffman, chairman of the CalGUNS Foundation; several current or former NRA directors; Robert Corbin, former Arizona attorney general and past NRA president; former Congressman Bob Barr; Jim Wallace, executive director of the Gun Owners’ Action League in Massachusetts; John T. lee, president of the Pennsylvania Rifle and Pistol Association; Tom King, president of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association; Robert E. Sanders, former assistant director of law enforcement for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and several others, 25 in all.
“The Supreme Court is almost certain to decide next year whether the Second Amendment applies to states and local governments, as it does to the federal government,” they wrote. “While on the Second Circuit, Judge Sotomayor revealed her views on the right to keep and bear arms in Maloney v. Cuomo, a case decided after Heller, yet holding that the Second Amendment is not a fundamental right, that it does not apply to the states, and that if an object is “designed primarily as a weapon” that is a sufficient basis for total prohibition even within the home. Earlier in a 2004 case, United States v. Sanchez-Villar, Sotomayor and two colleagues perfunctorily dismissed a Second Amendment claim holding that "the right to possess a gun is clearly not a fundamental right." Imagine if such a view were expressed about other fundamental rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, such as the First, Fourth and Fifth Amendments.”
“We joined in this effort,” Gottlieb said, “because our nation stands at point in history where we either defend all civil rights, or begin to surrender them one by one until none are left. It would be unconscionable to stand silently as the Senate deliberates confirmation of a new associate justice with such evident disregard for a key tenet, if not the critical element, of the Bill of Rights.”
“The Second Amendment survives today by a single vote in the Supreme Court,” the letter notes. “Judge Sotomayor has already revealed her views on the right to keep and bear arms and we believe they are contrary to the intent and purposes of the Second Amendment and Bill of Rights.”
With more than 650,000 members and supporters nationwide, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is one of the nation’s premier gun rights organizations. As a non-profit organization, the Citizens Committee is dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States. The Citizens Committee can be reached by phone at (425) 454-4911, on the Internet at www.ccrkba.org or by email to InformationRequest@ccrkba.org.
