Here's a new born on the farm.

We are not talking about the "Elvis" fame but rather the "Alpaca" farm that used to be located in Auburn. Laila Roukounakis relocated her farm to Lisbon Falls a couple of years ago. Graceland Farm is situated on 19 acres of wonderful land and pastures just up the road from the high school on Rt. 9. We stopped in to say hi and visit the farm during "open house" this past weekend.

It is such a neat place that we thought it deserved a closer look. Offering a surprise for those that appreciate animals and what they have to offer. Alpacas offer a renewable supply of "fleece" that can be used to make you warm during cold weather.
